The cafeteria was bustling with friends talking. Gossip here and there. There was even a rumor of how Dean and Jack were back together, and apparently that was the biggest talk of the town. It's crazy how some people are soo obsessed with others' lives.

And Raffy was minding his own business, tuning out all of the gossip when Pete bumped his arm and stood beside him by the railing over-viewing the lower floor.

"Hmm? Why are you here?" Raffy asked his good friend.

"Have you heard the news?"

"What news? Don't tell me you're also caught up in all the drama."

"Hey, what's wrong with being updated? And the news is,, Jack and Dean are back together."

"Oh."

"OH?? That's your reaction?" Pete asked the guy beside him whose gaze was at the lower floor, looking for a specific boy of course.

"Well, what can I do? If they're really back together, then I'll have to wait till they break up," He said as he sighed, "again."

"Ohoo," Pete started as he shook his head, "how long have you been waiting for him again? Only for him to always go back to his ex. And here you always think waiting will bring you his heart."

"Well, what can I do? I've done everything to get his attention.. but,"

"But??"

"But even though I always show him I can always be here, he only seems to want to be friends."

'or less." Raffy thought to himself looking down at his fingers fidgeting with each other, forcing himself not to look down at someone the boy he loves love. No, likes, love would be a word too strong.

But that was what he felt.

"That's fine, friend. There are many fishes in the sea."

"But I want him"

"Then tell him."

"How? He's back with Jack."

"Is he? Has he confirmed it?"

"Even so-"

"Ai shhh, tell me. Do you like Dean?"

"A lot."

"Then tell him!"

"But-"

"No buts!!"

---Dean

Dean has entered the cafeteria that was loud with whispers and gossip, as it seems. Sigh. They always gossip, What was it about this time? Then suddenly two girls walked up to him and asked, "Dean, is it true you and Jack are back together?"
Huh? Where did they even get that information, how misleading. He ignored the two's question and shrugged it of instead.
He found Jack, Timmy, and Tua in one of the tables and walks up to his peers.

"What's up?" He asks bumping fists with Tua, his roommate. "Why did they ask me if we're back together?" He asked, directed to his ex-boyfriend.

"I don't know, they keep asking me too." He answered not seeming affected by the gossip.

"Oh, so you two are not back together?" Timmy asked, pursing his lips and Dean hit him in return.

"Do you want to meet God, already?" He said, sounding like a question but he said it as a statement.

"Do you really not want to get back together?" Tua asked his closest friend then walked closer to the group.

"No," Dean answered almost immediately as he sat down next to Jack, but not that close. He sat with his back against the table. He looked up and saw Raffy looking over the railing. He held his gaze for a moment then said to Tua and the group, "You know damn well I like someone else." Still looking up at the boy who likes his ex-boyfriend.

Ugh, how frustrating.

Then Jack let out a chuckle that made Dean look at him.

"Why?" He asked, observing him.

"It's just unlikely, Dean. You can say you like someone else but you and I know that's not true."

"Really?" Dean answered with a chuckle. "How can you be so confident?" He asked bringing his face closer to Jack and the people around let out some squeals.

"Well, you're doing this. And who could you possibly like?" Jack said, who also brought his face a little bit closer to Dean.

"Let's see."

---Raffy

He was still gazing down the lower floor considering Pete's suggestion.
But it would all be too dumb. They're back together, and the streets are saying I like Jack. I need to talk face-to-face with who spread that rumor. And slap them hard across the face.

They say I like Jack because I tried too much to fight with Dean for the main-role. And if I didn't try, would Dean even look at me? Even though we're 'rivals' we had grown quite close.

I saw him at the bar one time. Drinking his heart out. That was the first time I asked to be his friend-even though I wanted to be more. And he let me. He let me be his friend that night.

He cried so much, mumbling about how he doesn't want to lose Jack. Jack this, Jack that. Why the hell does it always have to be Jack? What did he have that I didn't?
B
And that was when I knew I didn't stand a chance. I mean, how could I? I was his 'rival' after all. How could he possible like me.

And even if we aren't 'rivals' we were only friends.

That's all he would ever think of me.

I brought my gaze at the lower floor and saw Dean coming. Gosh he looked so fucking adorable. What ever did Jack do to deserve him?

He watched Dean walk up to his friends, clearly talking to them. It hurt a bit when he talked to Jack, but what right does Raffy have, right?

Goddamnit.

He closed his eyes to gain back his composure, god, he doesn't want to be "just friends" anymore.

He opened his eyes and saw Dean staring at him. His back was leaning over to the table, sitting next to Jack. But he was looking at me.

Fuck it.

At me.

I held his gaze, oh his beautiful eyes. I could look at them for forever.

Then he said something, what was it? I genuinely wanted to know because whatever he said made Jack laugh.

So he still makes Jack laugh..

Doddamnit, Raffy why are you doing this to yourself?

Raffy lifted his head up and sighed when he heard some squealing at the lower floor. He brought his eyes down and saw Dean and Jack's faces close to each other.

Of course they'd be close. They're boyfriends after all..

--

Then Dean stood up and climbed on top of the table his back was previously leaning on to. This action made everyone around him question, what the hell was he doing?

"Yes, everyone, a lot of gossip has been slipping off your tongue I see." He said, gathering everyone's attention. Most especially the one up in the higher floor.

"Well, let me clarify this. Jack and I are not back together, and we are not going to get back with each other." He added as he stared at Jack for a brief moment before looking up at Raffy with a mischievous smile forming in his face.

"I like someone else." He said again, still looking at Raffy, holding his gaze. The people followed Dean's eyes and looked at Raffy upstairs then started whispering.

"And this person I like, may or may not, like my ex-boyfriend. But who knows, maybe I have a chance?"

-

Raffy chuckles at whatever is happening in this cafeteria. Dean's looking at him, and saying he likes 'someone else' I mean, who wouldn't assume that it's me, right?

That's why I'm assuming and greatly hoping it is me.

If I told 10 minutes earlier Raffy this was happening, oh he wouldn't believe me.

-

"So, Raffy, krub. Do I have a chance? Because, I like you very very very very much." Dean said still holding Raffy's gaze as he smiles once again.

He remembered all the times Raffy was there for him, god, if he didn't like Jack I wanted him to like me instead.

Those nights at the bar when Raffy took care of me, we weren't even close then. But of course, the kind person that he was, he looked over me at the most miserable times of my life.

Whenever I felt overwhelmed and Raffy was at my side, who wouldn't like him? I certainly would.

He smiled down at me then took out his phone. Not long after, my phone chimed.

"I don't like Jack, I like you so you definitely have a chance."
