   Summary

Rooster knows he's done this too many times to be distraught. Leave ends. Leave always ends. The only exception this time being that Rooster's actually leaving something behind. Something big and mean and so small and precious to him. The grief washes in like the ocean tide: slow but undeniable.
   Or.
Leave ends, but not without a surprise.
