   Summary

   On a diplomatic journey to the empire of Daxam, young Kara Zor-El expects ceremonies, politics, and endless lectures from her parents about interplanetary alliances. What she doesn’t expect is to find a terrified human girl hidden deep within the palace’s restricted quarters.
