   Summary

   But Menma could never meet his extended family. His grandmothers and grandfathers were dead, and so was his only uncle. And now, Sasuke was heading back to the village that had killed them all, and he was brining his son back with him. The village that he had no place in— the village with the people who wanted to shackle him down.

   He didn’t know how to feel about that. Didn’t know what their reaction would be to seeing him with a child, to yet another Uchiha added to world whereas the elders of Konoha had tried their best to get rid of them all.

   He sighed, ignoring the lump in his throat at his son’s innocent eyes. The forest around him felt wide and infinite, and Sasuke knew he wasn’t safe. They had to start moving again.
