Work Text:
Mike was really hot.
Like sweat dripping from every crevice of his body type of hot.
He didn’t know what time it was, couldn’t remember what he was doing before he fell asleep, hell he didn’t even know what day it was
He turned his head to check the time, and it quickly hit him where this extra heat was coming from.
Will was sound asleep on Mike’s chest. Seeing him so peaceful made something warm and fuzzy appear in his chest. It felt comforting even with the intoxicating heat Hawkins had been under recently.
He carefully craned his neck to see his alarm clock, making sure not to wake Will.
It read 8:32am.
Shit.
Will wasn’t meant to spend the night.
He was meant to be out of his house before Joyce left for work.
Had he potentially snuck over in the middle of the night ?
Yes, and who was Mike to say no to those adorable doe eyes, especially when the owner of said eyes, was asking to spend some quality time with his boyfriend.
Of course Mike said yes, on the condition that Will would make it back to his own house before morning.
He knew Joyce and Hopper had been extremely supportive of Will when he told them he was gay. Mike was nearly certain that if he told them about himself, they would be really supportive too, possibly even more than his own parents, but he was certainly not ready for another ‘door open 3-inches’ talk from Hopper.
It was glorious to be able to hang out freely with Will in his room, cuddle with him, make out, nap, they could do whatever.
With that 3-inches rule though, Mike wasn’t so sure they could keep getting away with all that.
And if Hopper or Joyce found out that Will had been sneaking out at night, and secretly spending the night at his house, Hopper's rule might start to be subtly brought back up again.
Mike would much rather if that was not the case.
“Hey, Will” he whispered, pressing a kiss to the top of his hair, which smelt heavenly. Even if it was covered in a light layer of sweat, it was so undeniably Will that
Mike loved the smell regardless.
He heard a small groan come from Will’s lips, but his eyes remained closed.
“Come on baby, you gotta wake up, it’s morning” he mumbled into his hair.
“S’too early” Will mumbled back, pushing his head further into Mike’s chest, as if he was trying to get impossibly warmer.
Mike tried his best to suppress a laugh. Normally it was him refusing to wake up, staying in bed till past noon, if his mom didn’t come barging in before that.
“You told me you had to be back home before your mom went to work” Mike said, unconsciously beginning to draw shapes into Will’s arm. “Hopefully she hasn’t left yet”
At that, Will snapped his eyes open, the sudden brightness of the sun peeking through the curtain seemingly having no effect on his eyes.
“Shit, what time is it?” he asked, lifting his head off Mike’s chest to look around the room.
“About half eight” Mike responded with a chuckle, “do you think you’ll make it back quick enough?”
Will shrugged, starting to lift himself off of Mike. He instantly missed the warmth, even if it felt slightly suffocating in the heat.
“I mean, If I peddle fast enough maybe”
Mike sat up, slightly amused at the sight of Will hurrying about the room to pull a shirt on.
“I can drive you, it will be way quicker” he offered with a grin.
“And risk Hopper seeing you drive me home at eight in the morning, not a chance” Will scoffed, tugging his trainers on.
“Right, I don’t think I can deal with a three inches talk right now” Mike laughed, slowly getting off the bed himself.
“What the hell are you going on about?” Will asked, confusion spreading all over his face.
“Uh, nothing, don’t worry about it”
Will rolled his eyes, before grabbing Mike’s hands, tugging him up off the bed.
“See you later?” he asked, those doe eyes peering right up at Mike.
“Yeah, of course, we could go see a movie?” Mike offered.
They hadn’t been able to go on any ‘official’ dates since they got together, since for starters most people weren’t too accepting of people like them, but also because none of the other Party members knew about them, and had claimed that the two of them hanging out by themselves was ‘unfair’ as Dustin had put it as it was everyone's last summer and that they should all be hanging out together.
“Is that a date?” Will asked, a cute smile growing on his face.
“I hope so,” Mike said with a grin, “as long as Dustin or Lucas don’t show up halfway through and make it a whole party thing”
Will shut the start of a Mike Wheeler Ramble ™ with a quick kiss, which Mike melted into instantly.
By the time they broke apart Mike had forgotten what he wanted to say in the first place.
“See you later,” Will said, heading for the window.
“You know you can use the door, like a normal person,” Mike said with a laugh, as Will began to stick his limbs out the window.
“Mike, your parents are probably up by now, and I don’t really feel like explaining to them how I magically appeared in the middle of the night”
“I mean, you are magic, you’re literally a sorcerer” Mike said with a grin.
“And you’re literally an idiot” Will said, even though Mike could see his cheeks warming from the name.
“I’m your idiot”
“Mhm, Love you too” Will said, grinning, and then he was gone.
Mike felt like he was the lead in one of those cheesy romcom movies Nancy used to make him watch, where the wife stared off longingly at her husband.
————
It was now about 2:30pm and the heat had not gotten any better.
According to the 2pm news his mom had put on the tv, it was almost 90 degrees - way too hot if you asked him.
He was so tempted to go and sit by the fan in the living room, the idea of its cool breeze felt heavenly to him right now, but the fan was of course placed right beside his dad on the lazy boy.
Mike would rather not have to sit beside his dad and have an awkward chat about life, or hear complaints about how he needs to get a job and make some money. If Mike could, he would tell his father how he didn’t need a job.
Since El shut the final gate to the Upside Down, the government gave them some hush money to keep them all quiet about it. They didn’t want the satanic panic going around to increase if anyone heard about what went on in their small town.
Were they given a lot of money?
Not particularly, but it was enough. Mike planned to save it for college, and whatever Will wanted of course. If he wanted a new set of paintbrushes or a new canvas, Mike would make sure he had it. Whatever made Will happy made Mike happy. It was simple.
Yet, his father was unaware of the recent income he had earned, so Mike just had to suck up these talks about finding a job and being a ‘responsible young man’.
Mike chose to suck up this heat and sit in the kitchen with Holly and his mom instead.
Holly was decorating and making a paper fan for herself while their mom was preparing a salad, or something with a lot of green stuff, for lunch.
“Hols, can I use that when you’re done making it?” he asked, he could use the cool air right now.
“No” Holly sniffed, “make your own”
“I can’t draw though” Mike groaned
“Too bad Will’s not here he can’t do it for you” Holly chuckled, continuing to meticulously fold the paper over itself.
“Yeah, too bad” Mike mumbled, now instead of thinking about how it was as hot as balls in his kitchen, he was instead thinking of how much he missed his boyfriend.
Which was arguably a lot more than how much he hated the heat right now.
“Do you have any plans for today Mike?” his mom asked while she was cutting up a cucumber.
“Not till later, I’m going to the movies with Will” he responded.
“Maybe you can ask him to make you a paper fan then” Holly said, sticking her tongue out while fanning herself with her own fan.
“Yeah, and his will be like ten times better than yours” he retorted, also sticking his own tongue out.
“Hey!” Holly exclaimed, blowing raspberries with her tongue over the table at Mike.
Mike, the very mature adult he was, copied her.
“Hey, don’t get my fan wet!” Holly shouted, swiping her little fan out of the way.
“Micheal, behave” his mom said from the island.
“Micheal, listen to your mother,” his dad said, emerging from the living room.
“I didn’t do anything, she started it” he exclaimed.
“She started it” Holly mocked with a laugh, continuing to fan herself.
Mike rolled his eyes, why couldn’t she go play with like Maggie or Debby or whoever she was friends with this week.
“Enough of that attitude young man or no sweety pie” his dad said, boring his eyes into Mike’s skull.
“You know me and El-uh Jane broke up right, like ages ago” Mike retorted, his brows furrowing. He didn’t even know his father knew he was in a relationship before.
“Still no sweetie pie” his father retorted back, the stern expression staying on his face.
Mike was confused now. Did he know about Will?.
He definitely didn’t. Mike had heard what he’d said to his grandparents at Christmas, about people like him. He would hardly let Mike stay under his roof if he knew.
“What are you on ab-” Mike began, but he was interrupted by the doorbell going off.
“Mike, can you get the door please, and quit arguing with your sister” his mom said, who was still cutting cucumbers at the island.
“Whatver” Mike sighed and went towards the porch.
Will was hardly here already, they had agreed earlier to head to the movie theatre around six.
Mike opened the door and was immediately met with Dustin’s hand in his face.
“Finally dude, what took you so long,” Dustin said with a grin, letting himself inside
“Oh, uh yeah man work away” Mike said, “what are you doing here?” he asked as he followed the other boy back into his house.
“I’ll tell you in a second, just want to say hello to your family” Dustin said as he made his way into the kitchen.
“Hey Holly, Hey Mrs. Wheeler, Hello Ted” Dustin said loudly upon entering the room.
His mom looked up from what she was doing and sent a quick smile in Dustin's way, “Hello Sweetie, how are you?”
“Awesome, what you cooking up” he asked with a grin.
“Just a salad, you know with the heat and all it’s probably too hot to be eating a roast or anything like that” she said politely.
“You know it,” Dustin responded.
“Should we be expecting you to be joining us again” his dad asked, with an emphasis on the again.
He was looking at him through his paper that just appeared out of nowhere, Mike swears he must always keep a pair up his arse or something.
“No sadly, me and Mike have plans” Dustin said, sounding ever so sorry while shooting a grin Mike’s way.
His head snapped towards Dustin, “we do?” he asked, surely he would have remembered making plans with him. He wouldn’t have planned his date with Will otherwise.
“Yeah, we’re going to Lover’s Lake with the others,” Dustin said, as if it was the most obvious thing.
“I thought you were going to the movies with Will,” his mom said, turning to face Mike.
Mike could practically feel Dustin’s eyes boring into the back of his head.
“Oh, uh yeah, that’s later, I just forgot to tell you about my plans for now” he tried awkwardly chuckling.
Dustin just scoffed, “get your trunks on dude, the others are waiting outside”
“The others are here?” Mike asked, trying to peer out the window, “why did you leave them all outside?”
“Because I had to say hello to my favourite parents in Hawkins” he responded with a shit eating grin. His mom just cooed in response while his father rolled his eyes.
He didn’t really understand when or where his dad’s seemingly one sided hatred for Dustin came from but he didn’t have time to question it as Dustin started shoving him towards the stairs.
“C’mon, get your trunks on, and radio Will about our plans, tell him your little movie hang out might be a bit delayed” he said as he headed for the door out.
Mike couldn’t help but notice the bitter tone in Dustin’s voice.
Was he jealous?
To be fair, he didn’t know that himself and Will were dating, and that these separate hangouts were actually dates, but it wasn’t like they were excluding the rest of the Party, they still hung out with them almost everyday. It was just different with Will.
He and Will were considering telling the Party about their relationship, it was just difficult to find the right time. Sure they hung out a lot and could always tell them there, it just never felt like the right time. And sure they were supportive of Will when he told them he was gay, but what if they weren’t actually okay with them actually being romantic and holding hands and leaving sweet kisses on cheeks, like Max and Lucas always do, and what Mike has noticed Dustin and El have started doing recently.
It was easy for them to love so easily, so publicly. But it would never truly be easy for Will and himself, it would always be hard to know people's true feelings about the matter.
Which Mike personally thought was extremely shitty. Why do people care so much about who others love? Didn’t Jesus say to love thy neighbour or something?, why did this not suddenly apply when thy neighbour happened to be another man? They were full of shit in Mike’s opinion.
He trudged up to his room and began rooting around for his swim trunks. This wasn’t their first swim of the summer, but he had a habit of not putting his clothes away properly and just letting the pile of clothes grow bigger and bigger on his chair.
Once he found a pair, a blue one with green triangles speckled across it, he reached for his Walkie to call Will.
“Will, are you there, over?” he asked into the walkie, in a sing-song tone, hoping it wasn’t overheard by Mrs Byers or Jonathan after he realised how cheesy he sounded.
“Yeah, over” the walkie crackled back, and Mike couldn’t contain his smile once he heard the sweet voice belonging to Will.
“Hi, how are you?” he asked. He could hear how absolutely smitten he sounded right now, but who cares?
“I’m good, how are you?” his voice crackled back.
“Good, now that I know you’re feeling good,” Mike said with a grin.
He heard a static laugh follow that through his Walkie, “is that all that you wanted to know?”
“Oh, shit no, uh actually Dustin wants to know if you can come to Lover’s Lake” Mike spoke into the Walkie, suddenly remembering why he was sent up here in the first place. “the others are all outside my house waiting apparently”
“Yeah, I’d love to go, what about our movie date though?”
“I mean, we can still probably make it, it’s at six, if you still want to go” Mike said, trying to calculate the timing in his head. Math was not particularly his strong point.
“Of course I still want to go, silly” Will crackled back. Mike could feel the smile on his face growing by the second.
“Okay, great!” he exclaimed, “also Dustin seemed pretty pissed that we were gonna hang out without him and the others.” he added on, remembering how annoyed he sounded earlier when he found out about their plans.
“Oh,” Will mumbled into the Walkie, “maybe we should tell them, if you feel comfortable of course, I feel bad leaving them out”
“Hey, it’s okay, we’re not technically leaving them out, I mean Max on Lucas go on about two dates a week, and I’ve seen how Dustin and El look at each other” he said with a chuckle, “but yeah, I wouldn’t mind telling them, maybe today if we find the chance” he continued.
“Yeah, that would be a good idea, but only if you feel comfortable telling them,” Will said softly.
“I do,” Mike reassured him, “maybe just one by one though, It might be too stressful with them all there”
“Of course, Mike” Will said, “We’ll do it, at your pace, whenever you’re ready”
“I can’t wait to be able to show them how much I love you, and if they have a problem with it they can suck it” Mike said with a chuckle,
“Mhm” Will hummed into the walkie, “I love you too”
Mike grinned, then his eyes widened when he looked over at his alarm clock, “shit, I’ve been up here almost ten minutes, I gotta go or Dustin will actually kill me”
Will laughed, “okay see you soon” his voice crackled into the room,
“Bye, I love you” Mike said, before bolting out the room, barely saying goodbye to his family before he left.
He grabbed his bike by the garage and realised the rest of the party were in fact all in his front yard waiting for him.
“Took ya long enough” Max said as she got back onto her bike.
Mike just stuck the finger up at her as he got on his own bike.
“Ready?” Dustin asked, as they began to pedal off.
“Yeah, sorry it uh- took a while to reach Will” Mike sheepishly said, Dustin would probably murder him if he found out he spent half the time talking to Will. He’d probably go off about how that was leaving him and the others out somehow. God forbid Mike wanted to spend some quality time with his not so public boyfriend.
“Mhm, Sure” was all Dustin said, before he began to pedal off, staying a bit ahead of him.
Mike let out a breath. Maybe telling the rest of the Party would fix this problem.
Once they arrived at the lake, they dumped all their stuff on the sandy ground and waited for Will to arrive. El was already with the group as her and Dustin were hanging out earlier on, which made Dustin a total hypocrite in Mike’s opinion.
“It’s hot as fuck out here” Lucas said, ripping off his shirt in the process. “You guys can wait for Will, I don’t think I’ll survive if I don’t get in the water this minute” he said while, slowly backing away towards the water.
Mike nodded, “You can all get in the water if you want, I don’t mind waiting for Will.”
Mike heard Dustin scoff behind him, “Sure, so you guys can have another secret hang out without us?”
“Dude, what’s your problem?” Mike asked, turning to face Dustin.
“Nothing, it’s fine,” Dustin said, shaking his head and beginning to take his own shirt off, “We’ll just wait in the water I guess”.
Mike scrunched his brows, and glanced up at Max, but she had a confused expression on her face, it seemed she didn’t know what Dustin’s problem was either.
“Alright” Mike sighed, lying down and letting the sun engulf the rest of his thoughts. He was probably going to get burnt anyways so may as well burn all the other thoughts going through his head at the moment.
After a while, his burning body was blocked from the sun from an all too familiar body standing over him.
“Hey” Will said with a little wave.
Mike found him so cute in his slightly oversized t-shirt, and his shorts. He felt like peppering kisses all over his body, but alas they were in public.
Soon though, they would be able to do whatever they wanted, well in front of the Party at least.
“Hel-” Mike began but he was interrupted by a yawn erupting from his throat. “Hi,” he finished.
“Cute.” Will said with a smirk, tapping Mike’s shoulder lightly with his foot. “Especially when you’re tired”
“Mhm, and whose fault is that?” Mike smirked back, which earned him another kick to his shoulder, which was not as light as the first one.
Mike had started to remember why he was so tired this morning, and how the two of them may have been a bit preoccupied throughout the night.
Before Will had a chance to respond, Lucas was splashing near the edge of the lake,
“Will, You’re here!” he exclaimed, “c’mon in before El absolutely drenches you guys”
Will laughed as he looked over to where El was. She was gathering balls of water and flinging them at the rest of the Party.
Will smirked as he looked down at Mike, beginning to take his shirt off, “last one there is a loser”, he shouted, before heading towards the lake.
“Cheater,” Mike yelled after him, almost tripping over his own two feet as he swung his shirt off while running.
Mike was sadly beaten by Will to the water.
He had to swim a little bit as the others were already pretty far out, the water was about chest high on all of them.
The water was a bit cold, but it was nice, refreshing after how hot the day had been so far. He also found it pretty easy to acclimatise to the water as El decided to dunk a massive ball of water over his head.
“Hey!” he exclaimed, using his arms to shovel as much water as he could towards El.
She only giggled as his feeble attempts barely reached her.
Mike snapped his head towards Will when he heard a chuckle coming from his direction.
“Hey” he whined, a small pout appearing on his face, which only made Will laugh even more.
“Sorry, it’s just you look like a sad wet puppy” Will said between laughs.
Mike furrowed his brows, he was not a sad wet puppy.
Will burst into another round of laughter, “now you just look like an angry wet puppy”
“Oh you want a puppy?” Mike asked, “I can give you puppy” he said, leaning closer into Will. He began shaking his head, letting all the droplets go everywhere.
Will continued to laugh, “you’re only proving my point”
“So, I know you love puppies,” Mike countered, shaking his head once more.
“I don't know, I think I’m more of a cat guy” Will shrugged.
“You’re such an idiot”
“Takes one to know one I guess”
Mike splashed Will in retaliation, with his hands this time, so he couldn’t dodge it.
“Oh, you’re so on” Will said, ducking under the water.
Mike didn’t even have time to wonder what he was doing before he was dragged under the water. A small hand dragging him down by the ankles.
When they both resurfaced they fell into a fit of giggles, nothing was particularly funny, but in Mike’s opinion that made the moment all the more funnier.
“What’s so funny guys?” Dustin asked, suddenly appearing between the two.
“Oh, nothing really” Will said with a laugh, “just splashing about that’s all”
Dustin sighed, “mhm, I’m sure” he said, and began to head out of the water.
Mike glanced around and realised that the others had already gotten out of the water at some point. He must have been too busy messing about with Will to notice.
“Seriously Dustin, what’s been your problem lately with me and Will hanging out?” Mike asked, following him out of the water.
Mike turned back to shoot a glance at Will, did Dustin already know about them?
Is that why he had been so weird about the two of them hanging out without the others recently? Did he have a problem with Will and himself dating?
As if Will could read his mind, he just shook his head and shrugged, also following Dustin out into the shallow water.
Dustin turned around to face the pair, his face twisted in annoyance.
“You two are always sneaking about and hanging out without us” he began, staring between the two of them, “This is our last summer together all in one place and you two keep running off from the rest of us”
“Dustin, we hang out with you guys everyday, nothing's changed” Will said, continuing to wade through the water, closer to Dustin.
“What about the two of you going to the movies tonight huh?” he asked, “were the rest of us going to be invited to that?”
“Why do you have a problem with me and Will hanging out, you and El hang out all the time without us?” Mike said, but Dustin kept walking, they were now nearly completely out of the water at this point.
“That’s because we’re dating Mike, and also we don’t hide it from the rest of you when we go on dates” he snapped, turning back to face Mike again.
“Is this going to be what it’s like when we all go to college,” he continued. “Are you guys going to hang out by yourselves and ignore the rest of us?”
“Dustin, why would you even think that” Will spoke up, “we’re your best friends of course we’re not going to ditch you guys”
Dustin furrowed his brows, looking Will up and down. For a moment it seemed as though his gaze lingered around his trunks, then his eyes snapped toward Mike.
“Oh my god” he breathed out, shaking his head a bit, “I- uh, oh my god” he repeated.
Mike glanced over at Will, by the looks of it he was also extremely confused.
“You okay dude?” he asked, wading closer to Dustin.
“Yeah, it’s just” Dustin stuttered out, pointing between Will and Mike.
“Oh shit” Will exclaimed, looking down at his stomach. Mike followed his line of sight, and his eyes widened.
There were a couple of purple spots blooming across the bottom of Will’s stomach and along the edge of his thighs, visible because his shorts had ridden up while they were swimming.
“Oh my god” Dustin began with a laugh, “I completely misread the situation.”
Mike furrowed his brows, what situation? Did he have a problem with him and Will?
“Do you have a problem with it?” Will asked shyly. Mike could tell he was biting his bottom lip in anticipation of Dustin’s response.
Dustin glanced between the two, his eyes widening, “no, of course not, I’m happy for you guys, really I am, it’s just I’ve been such an idiot haven’t I?”
Mike let out a sheepish laugh, “a bit”
“I understand now,” Dustin sighed, “the secret hangouts, not wanting to tell anyone of us your inside jokes, it was to protect yourselves, wasn’t it”
Will and Mike both nodded.
“We wanted to tell you guys, but it just never felt like the right time” Mike admitted.
“I probably didn’t make it easier on you, with my constant giving out about you too” Dustin sheepishly said.
Will grimaced, “yeah, it was starting to sound like you were onto us”
Dustin shook his head, “I honestly didn’t, I was just being a bit of a dick. I thought you guys were starting to slowly ditch us over the summer and since, well, since Eddie passed, I’ve been a bit scared of you guys leaving” he admitted.
Mike’s eyes softened and he immediately pulled Dustin into a hug, “It’s okay Dustin, I promise we’re never going to ditch you lot,”
“Yeah, we’re all a package deal at this point” Will grinned, joining in the hug.
“Thanks guys,” Dustin whispered, slowly pulling back.
“And I’m really happy for you too” he began, smiling brightly at the pair, “I’m so glad you’ve both finally found each other”
Mike and Will beamed at each other, a slight matching tint of red appearing on their cheeks.
“Thanks Dustin” Mike said with a grin, “but would you mind keeping it to yourself for a while, we haven’t told the others yet”
“My lips are sealed” Dustin grinned, miming locking his lips up and throwing away the key.
“There’s just one problem though,” Dustin added.
“What?” Mike asked, but he came to the realisation of what this problem was when Dustin began to point towards Will’s stomach.
“How are you going to explain that?” he asked with a laugh.
“Mosquitoes?” Will suggested, a laugh bubbling in his throat.
“Do you think Max Mayfield will believe that mosquitos did that?” Dustin asked skeptically.
Will shrugged, “maybe”
Mike grinned as an idea popped into his head, he stood in front of Will, his menacing smile only growing wider as a light blush formed on Will’s face at the proximity.
“I have an idea” he smirked, and he swiftly picked Will up and threw him over his shoulder, his recent work outs with Lucas finally paying off.
“Hey!” Will squirmed, but he never properly fought off Mike.
“Now no one can see your stomach” Mike said, proudly wading his way through the water, ignoring the faint sound of Dustin’s laughter in the background.
“Mhm, because this totally isn’t incriminating” Will laughed, Mike loved how he could feel it landing on his back.
“Totally not” Mike agreed, “just friends hanging out”
“Wow” Will said, feigning a scoff, “I’ve been demoted to just a friend, wow Mike”
Mike rolled his eyes, “you’ll be demoted to a lump of sand in a minute you idiot”
“That doesn’t even make sense,” Will laughed.
Mike just laughed in response, as Will was right, he was making no sense. But he didn’t have a care in the world, as long as Will was beside him, he was going to be okay.
———
It was now 6:21pm and Mike was sitting in the dark theatre room.
He and Will were in the very back row, which meant the AC was practically blowing right down their necks, which was great for cooling them down after the heat they had been out in all day at the Lake.
Being in the back row also gave them privacy, which meant Mike could hold Will’s hand if he wanted to, without anyone else seeing.
So naturally, he left his hand palm up in between the two seats and almost instantly Will’s fingers were sliding between his own.
“Hi,” Will quietly whispered. The movie hadn’t started yet, just the adverts, but Mike whispered back anyways.
“Hi” he whispered, a grin growing on his face.
“You enjoy today?” Will asked, mindlessly rubbing his thumb along Mike’s knuckles.
“Yeah, I’m glad we told Dustin, or well, I’m glad he found out”
“Yeah?”
Mike nodded, “it feels like a weight off my chest, ya know”
Now it was Will’s turn to nod, “yeah, it gets easier with each person trust me” he said, lifting up Mike’s hand and pressing a quick kiss to his knuckles.
Mike smiled, “I love you”
“I love you too,” Will said, tugging Mike into a sweet kiss.
A kiss Mike could have kept going forever, if they weren’t interrupted by the start of the film blaring in their ears.
“Jesus” Mike said, slightly jumping back out of freight.
Will just laughed at Mike’s reaction to the film starting,
“Baby” he teased, a smirk growing on his face.
“Yeah” Mike said raising his eyebrows, “but I’m your ba-mhm”
He was interrupted by the feeling of Will’s hand covering his mouth.
“Shh” Will giggled, pressing a finger to his lips, “the movies starting”
“Okay,” Mike whispered, pressing a kiss to Will’s hand, which hadn’t left his mouth.
“baby”
