Evo was already getting stuck in weeds, the flowers hugging his ankle. Lezy was already running ahead, laughing.
"Hey, wait up!" Evo yelled, cutting the flowers and running quickly after his friend. Evo was always quicker then Lezy, so he caught up quickly.
He tackled Lezy and they both rolled on the ground. Flowers and leaves bursted into the air. Lezy's glasses were gone, lost in the flower field.
"Dudeeeee, I can't SEE." Lezy groaned, "Why are you so dang fast for no reason?"
Evo shrugged, "It's called running from your problems, now let's find your glasses."
Evo's hands dug into the grass. How did they always disappear so easy? Lezy was searching too, but was struggling since he couldn't exactly see.
Evo felt metal and pulled out the thinned lense glasses. "Here," the red eyed ninja said, holding the glasses to his friend. Lezy grabbed them, grateful, "Thanks."
Evo laid down in the grass and Lezy fell too, their hairs touching. Evo then felt his shoulder be tapped. Lezy pointed silently towards something.
Evo glanced over to see a fox and a bunny. The fox has their body curled around the bunny, sound asleep, and they bunny was sleeping peacefully.
"That us?" Evo asked, looking at the brunette. Lezy just laughed, "Only if I'm the fox!"
"You couldn't be a fox to save your life, I literally tackled you!"
"Oh shut up!"
"Whatever, bunny boy!"
They both laughed. This is the peace Evo had always wanted. After Boomie. After... Everything.
"Dude, can you wake up?" A distant voice. Different. Evo blinked. The sky was black and purple, chorus fruit above him. Supzec was shaking him.
"Dude you were talking in your sleep again." He said, voice just sightly worried.
"O-oh, sorry."
Supzec rolled his eyes and ate a chorus fruit.
Right... They were stuck in the end.
And Lezy was gone. And he was never coming back.
