Chapter Text
The dragon dropped to the endstone floor. The purple blood pooled near Minutetech’s feet. The voidling sighed slowly. He was bored. He's explored the end, raided multiple end structures, and now he's killed the ender dragon.
He walked around, looking for any gold he could snag. What he found instead was unexpected. The dragon's egg. Minute's eyes widened, guilt immediately consuming him.
The dragon was a mother… and now he just left a baby without a parent. He at first ignored the egg, grabbing gold and diamonds from around. But he couldn't stop flicking his eyes to the purple glowing egg.
He sighed gently before walking over. The nest was a very comfortable thing and there was something else sitting by the egg. A very small blue eyeball with wings. It fluttered, the wings covering itself.
Minute stared, disbelief painting his face. “Oh… hello there…” The voidling picked up the eyeball. It floated above his hand a little, bobbing up and down slowly. He led the egg beside his head, but instead of staying, the winged eye went on his head, snuggling into his hair.
Minute's elvish eyes flicked before he took off his coat. He stopped for a second, staring at the egg. He really didn't want to leave it here. But was he ready to take care of a child? He was only 21…
Minute reached down and wrapped the egg in his jacket, picking it up. It was heavy, but Minute forced himself to tough it out. His base wasn't too far from the ender dragon's living area.
About 30 minutes later, he opened the door to his house. The place was pretty big for it just to be him. Hopefully it was enough room for a baby dragon to be here too. And a floating eyeball.
Minute walked into his room. A cozy looking thing, black walls with white splatters, multiple trinkets from the overworld and nether around the walls, and a big cozy black bed. He set the egg down, wrapping some blankets around it.
“That should work until I get something set up for you…” Minute stood up, wiping his hand. He felt the flurry of wings on the top of his head. He scooped it up and set it beside the egg.
“Can you speak?” Minute asked, crouching beside the bedside. The eyeball gave a flutter of wings. Then out of nowhere, a small notebook appeared. Minute immediately backed away, grabbing his sword.
The eyeball immediately looked scared, dropping the book and own and hiding behind his wings.
“Oh! No, no, I'm so sorry, I didn't- fuck- wait…” Minute looked at the name on the book.
Eggchan
Seraph of Peace
“Eggchan… is that your name?” The eye fluttered his wings in response. Minute held his hand out and gave the eyeball- well, now named Egg- a small part, barely making contact.
Minute wasn't gentle. No, he wasn't good with kids, not at all. He learned that quickly when he dropped his baby brother, Tai, on the head.
But, to his surprise, the seraph leaned into it. Then, with a small burst of light, the eye turned into something different.
Someone different.
A person. Well, a humanoid body. Pure white clothes that looked too tight and uncomfortable. Head wings that cover his eyes and back wings that seemed too big for him. One head wing moved, revealing an eye. Egg smiled gently, genuine happiness in his eyes.
“Why hello there…” Minute stood up, staring at Egg's clothes. Those weren't going to do… but could he even sew anymore? He could probably make Egg some clothes.
But he has bigger problems.
Crack.
