    Ava gave a slight nod. Both her dads made an exaggerated show of fake kissing the screen, making Ava and Dimitri both burst out into giggles. Shane ignored how ridiculous they both probably looked at this moment, instead focusing on just making his daughter's pain go away.

    “Is better now?” Ilya asked once they were done and Ava was all smiles.

    Ava beamed at her dads. “Yeah!”
