Summary
There are probably few people as diametrically opposed as Tim Bradford and Lucy Chen in the city of Los Angeles.
Roughest training officer at the Mid-Wilshire station, Bradford lives by control, routine, and rules that leave little room for anything else.
Lucy Chen, owner of a small library, finds peace in quiet spaces and the steady rhythm of books.
They were never supposed to meet, but somehow, they keep crossing paths anyway.
