The atmosphere was eerily quiet, it was almost uncanny, the body of the Mysterious Figure laying before them, burnt and broken, face unrecognisable, anything left simply a single eyeball popped from it's socket.
They've won, that much is clear, Robloxia is safe, Builderman was safe, the evil had been vanquished...........then why did everything feel so.......cold?
Player lay the ground, twitching and writhing, blood pouring from the slit in their throat.
Oh.....thats right........they struck at the same time........them with the Firebrand........him with the Illumina..........though his attack was more coordinated them their wild recklessness they suppose..........
Their fingers twitched as the pain began to numb........but any soldier knew that was not a good sign.......
Their ears ring as they see a yellow hand pluck the Illumina from the Mysterious Figures cold, limp hand, they didn't need to hear the voice to kno who it was, they recodnised Skedletsky better then anyone at this point, they could sense him kneeling down next to them.
They couldn't hear what he was saying.
Something suddenly plunged into their back with a twist, sending a spike of pain through their numbing body, then their vision went black.

Cold stone was splayed along Players back, they felt concrete on their fingers, it was........so bright......warm........what......happened? Where are they? Is this........heaven? Player pushed themselves up, their blurry vision steadying.
The stone under their hands was cold and rough, it reminded them of the caverns they traveled through in Blackrock, just.........what did they come out of? And why did they feel........weird?
Player reached up to feel their head, their fingers brushing something boney and smooth.......were........these horns? Why did they have horns?!
Player looked behind them to see just WHAT they came out of, a large pillar of light that faded as quickly as they turned around, leaving a dull alter in it's place, was that the spawn symbol? Just what was this place?
Player got to their feet, and soon heard footsteps coming their way, motivating them to hide, stumbling behind a nearby pillar.
Several people ran inside, Player peak over the pillar to get a good look at them, they looked like........knights? And-- Wait why did all of them have horns? And were grey?? Huh???
".......Nothin' here.......could sworn the alter went off though..." One of them spoke.
"Spread out and search to be sure" Another stated, they assume their the one in charge here.
Player took the chance to check their bag, they didn't even notice they still had it until now. Ok lets see.........most of their cards were missing, all they seemed to have were Cure Cards, Bodyguard, just a bunch of support cards really, and.........wait......whats this?
Player pulled 4 cards out of their bag, they.......don't remember having these.
All 4 were Call-Cards;
First one was red and black with a Heart and Sword on it.
Second was gold and black with a satchel and tix on it.
Third was blue and black, had a cloud and a ball on it.
Last one was purple and black, which had a flower and a book on it.
They.......don't remember owning any cards like these, and why did they feel so.........familiar?
They heard the footsteps of a knight wander closer, shit! Ok! I-If these Cards work, they should probabaly try and use them, they can't find their cards from the Blackrock King and Brad, and all their cards were support based!
"Cmon cmon cmon cmon please work!" Player muttered, gripping the cards tightly.
In a sudden flash the cards were gone, Player was frozen for a bit, processing the fact that it worked, soon being shocked back to reality when they heard several groans from above them, now find 4 'people' standing above them.
The first one was slightly shorter then them, Pale Grey skin with 2 yellow horns curled on the left side of his face. He wore a golden Cowboy outfit, set with a poncho, boots, gloves and pants, even a hat, and yellow eyeliner, a large yellow spot right between the eyes.
The second was a bit more taller then them, with a slightly darker shade of grey for skin, wore a blue fur jacket with the hood up, the zip left open revealing bandages wrapped around their chest, baggy pants and shoes. She had 4 blue horns, 2 curled upwards, while 2 smaller ones curled around her cheeks, a blue orb levitating between her top pair, a blue eye-like marking on her forehead.
The third was shorter then the blue one, but still taller then Player, they had a more solid grey skin colour, wore a black, sleeveless tanktop much like them, red, rib-like markings around the ribs and red heart over the chest, similar baggy pants, 2 red pointed horns atop their head, a long barbed tail of the same colour, on the exposed skin of their arms they had red markings that looked a bit like veins, hands faded to red, and red spikes protruding from their spine, they were more muscular then the other 2, not by much but definitely more physically capable. The physique and face kinda reminded them of Builderman a bit.
And the last one, was by far the LARGEST of the 4, they dark grey skin, and wore more Japanese style clothing, wearing a black and purple Kimono with flowers on it, they had 4 purple barbed horns, all 4 pointing sideways and upwards. They had various flowers blooming from their body, purple vine-like markings around their eyes, and were more muscular then the red one, they stood a good 7ft tall at best!
The 4 seemed to get their bearings, and notice the sudden change in their surroundings, the red one was the first to notice Player's precense.
"............Creator?" They spoke in a confused tone.
Creator........but......the only one who's ever called them that is--............Oh gods........
Realisation hit Player like a bus, NO WONDER THEY LOOKED SO FAMILIAR!!
"Creator? Where--......Oh! Heya lil' pal!" Greed says enthusiastically. "Back in the dreamscape already? Can't say I recognise this corner of it! Ha, you look a lil different!"
"Thats because we're not IN the dreamscape anymore" Solitude speaks in the same monotonous voice they remember. "If you haven't noticed, we took look different"
"Sh-She's right! I-I feel........weird....." Fear stuttered out, looking at themself, wh-why did it look like this!? W-wait didn't they DIE!? IS THIS HELL!?
While the other emotions were processing things, Hatred sat down near Player, much to their discomfort. "So, creator, i'm assuming you're just as clueless and us huh? Well thats no problem friend! We just gotta get through it!"
Player shudders, why was he talking like his Builderman disguise? "Why're you talking like that?"
"What can i say........the character's.....grown on me~" Hatred teases. "Now.........whats up with the new looks--"
"I think I heard something over there!" SHIT THE KNIGHTS! Player completely forgot about them!
"Hm? What the..." Hatred peaked around the pillar, retreating back once it notices the knights coming this way. "Knights? I don't recognise the armour"
"C-Can't be Blackrock, w-we're on good terms with th-them, plus the armour design looks to.....p-pristine..." Fear observed, why did they all have horns? Better question why did all of them have horns??
"I say we bounce from this joint! Things're gettin to crowded 'ere" Greed utters in annoyance.
"Finally something I think we all agree on" Solitude sighed, it wasn't often she agreed with Greed.
"A-And how're we going to do that!? We're not even sure if we can use any of out abilities here! It's not like we can just....summon weapons out of thin ai--" As soon was Fear said that a Spellbook suddenly conjured into their hand, levitating as it opened onto a page. "...........huh....."
"Wait, can we all do that!? I wanna try!" Greed snickered and tried doing what Fear did, only to find a Dial formed in his hand instead. "Aw phooey! what am i supposed to do with this!?"
"I seem to be well set" Solitude hummed, a Hyperball in her hands.
"Me to" Hatred summoned a sword into it's right hand, letting out a chuckle of excitement which worried Player.
"U-Um........I-I came here with these" Player gulped, summoning some of their cards into their hand. "Th-Though they're all support based"
"Hmm.......Well it could work out if one of us gets hurt" Solitude encouraged, support wasn't always a bad thing, besides, all of them seemed to be attack based......well beside Greed, their not sure what he is.
"Y-Yeah! I th-think you'd make a g-good support!" Fear agreed, that at least managed to heighten Player's confidence.
"Ok, if everyones set, we go on three, one.......two--" Hatred was interrupted by Greed jumping out.
"THREE!!" Greed cackled as he clocks the knight in the face with his Dial, well they.......guess that worked? Kinda?
The knight falls over with a yelp, alerting the others to their position.
"THERE! INTRUDERS!! GET THEM!" One of the knights yelled.
"Welp! Time to scram!" Greed snickered, sprinting forward towards the exit.
Player was suddenly picked up by Fear and carried as the rest followed suite. "SORRY! IT'S FOR THE BEST!"
Player couldn't help but agree with how fast everyone was currently running! Jeez, they were NOT moving like this back in the dreamscape! The 5 burst outside what they assume was a temple, finding a rather Roman/Greek style environment around them, it kinda reminded Player of The Trinity, specifically the Splintered Skies Region.
There were more Horned People around, all of which were either startled or pushed aside by their emotions as they ran frantically, searching for an exit as the knights chased them. In which they eventually do.......finding a cliff ledge instead..........no it wasn't a cliff, THEY WERE LITERALLY ON THE FLOATING ISLAND!!
"Seriously!? A Floating Island!?" Greed exclaimed in shock.
"HALT! RELEASE THE NEW SPAWN AND TURN YOURSELVES IN!" The Knights had them cornered, shit, what do they do!?
"I say we jump" Hatred said nonchalantly.
"ARE YOU CRAZY!?" Fear exclaimed.
"Whats the problem? We do, we escape, we don't, we get sent to prison" Hatred rolled it's eyes.
"THAT IS NOT AT ALL WHAT I-- AAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaa--" Fear was suddenly pushed off the ledge in tow with Player by Hatred.
Hatred turns to the other emotions with a deadpan expression. "Anyone ELSE need some motivation?"
Solitude and Greed look at eachother and hastily shake their heads.
"Ah to hell with it, GERONIMOOOOOoooooo--" Greed yelled out as he cannonballed off the edge.
"For the record.......your recklessness is infuriating" Solitude scowls as she follow suit with a smaller, more elegant leap, Hatred following after her with a Swan Dive.
Meanwhile the knights stared in horror at the scene they had just witnessed, looking amongst themselves as the Squad Captain stared in disbelief, fear sinking in as the weight of their failure settled in.
"......We.....are......so getting fired for this......"

The fall was less then pleasant to say the least, some would even say TERRIFYING! Fear had thankfully managed to break their falls using a Levitation Spell in their Spellbook, didn't completely stop them from falling but did slow their fall enough to land comfortably.
Speaking of landing, they had landed in a large urban city, which they found from wandering around, was called Craterdust City, apparently it was what was left behind when the Splinter Skies was raised from the earth as the floating city it was now by the..........Windforce??
The 5 learned quickly about the culture of this new world, first things first, the inhabitantsb here were called Inphernals, and for some reason everyone's names were based on their gear, strange but simple, number 2, the SFOTH Swords were Deities......for some reason? It's confusing.
Apparently the Splintered Skies was referred to as a 'Faction', which they assume separates them from the locals in Caterdust City?? Seems a little classist of you ask Player.
Right now, being quite literally HOMELESS, Player and their emotions were currently hanging out in an empty alleyway, discussing their next course of action.
"Alright, first things first, we need new names, pretty sure it's gonna be weird if we walk around being called 'Player, Greed, Solitude, Fear and Hatred'" Player stated simply, if they wanted to blend in here, they needed to start.
"I agree with creator, it will be suspicious and conspicuous" Hatred nodded, looking towards everyone else. "Everyone, show your gears, if every lifeform here is named after their equipment them we should probabaly narrow ourselves down"
Nodding, each of them summoned their individual gears.
"Hmmm........well mines pretty simple, question is should I go by 'Clock' or 'Dial'?" Greed scratched his chin. "Hmmmmmm........Clock is a bit boring and bland........DIAL IT IS!"
"I suppose i'm Hyperball then" Solitude hummed, bouncing her ball a few times.
"U-Um......I-I suppose i'll be Spellbook i guess" Fear followed suite, flipping through the pages of his book.
"Ehhhh Sword's a bit to simple for me, 'sides, don't know if there's another Inphernal here of the same name, so......Broadsword i guess..." Hatred shrugged, twirling their sword in their claws.
"I-I guess i'll be Cards then, not much else to go by" Player muttered, flipping through their Cards, one of their Cards was blank, all grey and empty, wonder what that was about.
"Well then, i suppose we'll have to get used to our new names........and find a place to stay in the meantime...." Hyperball spoke, thinking to herself, what would be a safe place to stay? They were already almost mugged by at least 3 Inphernals here, so best not to stay here to long.........in which Dial proceeded to pickpocket their unconscious bodies for money, apparently BUX was the currency here, a rarity back home but apparently very common here.
"Hey, stole this map from one of the stores around here! 'Parently there's some old ruins buildings on the far northside of the city! Might be abandoned! We could hide out there for awhile!" Dial speaks up, showing off the map he stole.
"......Dial you absolute, insufferable GENIUS!" Cards said in utter awe and shock, how long has he had that for? "........And why are you only telling us this now!?"
"Well I had to actually study the layout of the land! DUH! This cities a maze I tell ya!" Dial huffed, though he did get an inflate in ego at the previous praise. "Cmon, i'll navigate!"
Dial motioned for them to follow, as much as the others doubted his guidance what else could they do? Reluctantly, the group began to follow their smaller member.

The 5 walked through the city, along the way Cards managed to get a good look at themselves in some windows, they had horns, almost identical to Broadswords, if not a bit shorter, only dark grey in colour, they were still wearing the clothing they were when they died, although their hoodie was missing, their skin was a pale grey, patches of which were darker then the rest, did they have........vitiligo? Pretty sure thats what it was called.............they still had that scar from when they..........
They snapped out of it when Spellbook called after them, in which they picked up the pace to catch up.
Dial was right, this place really WAS a maze, they could barely keep track of where they were going, and Inphernals kept giving Spellbook and Dial weird looks, maybe it's the fashion, everyone here in this place was wearing rather modern clothing.
They soon entered a more empty area of the city, which unsettled Cards a bit, considering how much more populated the inner city was. When the emotions came to an abrupt stop cards nearly bumped into Hyperball, looking past them to see what they were looking.
Their blood ran cold as they gazed upon the ruins, walls painted with old graffiti that looked FAR newer then the cold, empty, hollow ruins were.
Was............was that The Trinity?
