Dante wasn't sure it was possible. As he collapsed to the ground, blood gushing from his chest, he supposed it must be. Vergil stood over him, eyes wide. Nero shouted his name in the distance.
He was almost disappointed to finally die, even after all the years he spent casually chasing death. His eyes were getting heavy. His vision was getting dark. Vergil was still standing there, blood dripping from Yamato. Too shocked to move, maybe.
Dante opened his mouth to give his brother some final words, but nothing came out. As his vision blacked out, Nero shoved past Vergil.
