Summary
Originally, the incident with the Cat Fist was when Ranma got thrown in repeatedly till they snapped. This time, Ranma got tossed in once, and it cost him his sight.
Many would find this an impendent to something as vital as Martial Arts, but there are tales of blind martial arts masters throughout history, and as such, Genma is too stubborn to give in, and attempts to make Ranma one of these martial artists, however, being the idiot that he is, fails to do so properly, especially considering he's trying to teach Ranma an Ariel Fighting Style.
With unrealistic expectations, and a son who's stuck relying on him due to the inflicted blindness, they eventually find themselves in the cursed springs of Jusenkyo...except this time, the "curse" is a blessing for Ranma, as she regains her sense of sight again, and so much more as she gets to experience life and learn more about herself.However, the road ahead gets complicated, with a father who wants him as a son to complete "obligations" and keeps trying to thrust Ranma back into the dark.
