The series of fanmix about Amberites. Because they concerned one grandiose family, I tried to include some songs - everybodywantstoruletheworld especially - as the returning motif, repeating them in each fanmix, the titular one as the opening and closure, just in a different cover versions. I hope this approach, highlighting the characters' similarities and echoes in their stories, is interesting not only for me. I treat fanmixes as character studies, fan essays etc., so I'm always open to discussion about the songs, their order and other choices I made, or about other fitting songs I missed!
I had a few years break, because of personal and grand-global-local-politics reasons (or: grand global political reasons affecting my personal matters. more like. more truthful. so, 99% personal), from fandom activity. I have missed it constantly, in many different ways. I'm not sure I'm back or will be back, not yet, but posting fanmix seems like a relatively easy way to start again.
I hope I haven't forgotten how to html my way on AO3, hah.
Misc.: I wish something like poetry-mix existed, creating a collection, a collage of poems and quotes illuminating a specific character or a relationship. Like collages, but of words, not images.
I know, I know, Spotify is hardly an ideal place for fanmixes - but it's decently easy to use and most of the songs there stays, which is not the case for YT, not necessarily.
