   What if Ned Stark had spared Ser Arthur Dayne, Ser Gerold Hightower, and Ser Oswell Whent at the Tower of Joy? What if the events of Game of Thrones happened differently? What if Ned Stark had told Jon who his mother was? When Ned Stark tells Jon Snow his true name, he goes east. To Essos. Then Valyria. The House of the Dragon will rise once again, to greater heights than anyone could have imagined. This is a rework of the original fic I posted awhile ago. I found the writing style did not reflect the way I wanted to do this fic. There will be chapters that feel very similar to the original fic, and there will be chapters that did not make the cut.
