“Hey who’s hoodie is that” Travis asked, pointing at the purple hoodie that was wrapped around Aphmau’s waist “you didn’t have that this morning”
“Oh um yeah. It’s a gift”
Both Travis and Vylad exchange looks towards each other. Aphmau just sits confused across the table.
Vylad looks towards Aphmau again “so who got you that?” He asks already feeling like he knew the answer.
“It was Aaron” she unwrapped the hoodie from around her waist and holds it up so they could see. It was light purple with some character on the front in a darker purple “what do you guys think?”
“It’s nice” Travis starts “..but um don’t you think Aaron’s been getting you lots of stuff lately?”
Aphmau stops to thinks for a moment “I guess you kinda right but that’s just how he is. He’s a nice person who I guess just like giving”
“Yeah it’s not like it’s been anything too big I guess” Travis replied.
“Yeah” Aphmau smiled at them both.
It’s been a few days since Aphmau talked with Vylad and Travis about the gift giving and since then she hadn’t given it much thought since. I mean getting someone a hoodie, a notebook, multiple plushies and keychains of characters they like isn’t weird… right?
“Aphmau” she looked up to see Aaron sitting next to her. They were in werewolf class and he just came in. “What’s got you so out of it”
“Nothing… why you so late?”
“I’m not even that late, the teacher isn’t even here yet.” He gestured to the top the classroom where the teacher’s desk sat empty “…anyways I got you something” he sounded nervous before he grabbed a book out of his bag and handed it to Aphmau. one gift every few days…it’s probably him being nice
She looked at the book in her hands and quickly read over the details before smiling back up at Aaron and thanking him.
“It’s fine really. I was in book store with my sister and saw it. I just thought you might enjoy it”
“I’m excited to read it”
Aphmau spent the next few days with her head stuck in the book Aaron gave her. It was romance novel and last of the ‘every few days’ gifts Aaron was giving her. Aphmau thought nothing of it. Vylad and Travis were just being weird about it
