The event now known as the "information storm" occurred on ??/??/????, marked by the sudden destruction of various archives, information, and records online and in the physical world, and sudden degradation of human psyche. Including, but not limited to: The internet archive, Wikipedia, urban dictionary. Those who have had their memories affected by the information storm tend to frequently have sudden onset of many psychological disorders and conditions, namely; False memory syndrome, delusions, simple type schizophrenia, social withdrawal, degradation of vocabulary, speechlessness, and psychosis.
As of the information storm, estimated global population has gone down to a roughly estimated 5-20 million people worldwide, approximately the population count of the early Neolithic Revolution, 5000 BC; The whereabouts of those who vanished during the information storm are unknown.
This disappearance was marked by the arrival of the Liminal Echo, characterized by an unnumbered amount of spatial, temporal, and physical anomalies, including but not limited to: Warping of corridors, non-euclidean geometry, objects phasing out of existence, objects falling through the ground, and objects appearing from seemingly thin air.
In the face of adversity, the organization of the Anomalous Activity Association (henceforth, referred to as the A.A.A) has taken it upon themselves to organize the remnants of society worldwide, to anchor themselves in reality, to discover the new lands we inhabit, and conquer this new labyrinth of anomalous activity.
