Kinger tilted his bucket up with his index finger, then said with a tremor, “I.. I think I killed Caine.” Everyone looked shocked. “HOLY SHIT..” Zooble said, covering their mouth. Not knowing that no more Caine meant no more filter.
“Just great! We needed this. The ONE AI who could help us get out of this! And now… now we have nothing. We… Kinger. He ruined our way out!” Jax accused.As if he hadn’t done just as bad things as Kinger had. “Look, Jax, he didn’t mean to and we didn’t even know—” Pomni tried to help. Yet Jax wasn’t listening. “I don’t care! We could’ve gotten out of here! I… I need a way out.” Jax had raised his voice, causing Ragatha to flinch. “What? Was I too LOUD? Too SENSITIVE TO YOUR POOR EARS?” Jax yelled at Ragatha. She didn’t respond. Just… stood there. Zooble and Gangle watched in disbelief.
Then Kinger spoke up. “I saw a file.” Pomni looked at him. “What file?” Kinger took a deep breath. “I.. it was labeled ‘The Doors.’ I.. I don’t know. I.. I need someone there. I need someone to see it!” Jax scoffed. “What? Just going to show us it? Show us whatever it is then throw us out? You’re nothing, Kinger! YOU DESERVED IT.” He didn’t even have to say what it was. Queenie. Oh dear Queenie. How much he loved her. What a shame he would never see her again. Right?
Kinger paused. Then spoke. “Pomni come here.” Once Pomni did as instructed, Kinger spoke once again. “Remember how I told you that we can all make things, even if it takes a lot of work?” His voice was so soft, so fatherly, so loving. “Yea..” Pomni said. After hours of Kinger and Pomni teaching the others how to rebuild some of the surface to make a place to get a computer and use it, Jax just sat out on the ground. Sulking.
Once they summoned the exit door to get to the computer— “I’ll be right back!” She said as she ran in, got the computer, mouse and keyboard and went to Kinger once more. “Here!” she said, so excited.
Kinger brought up the files. Two simple words written in Japanese. Everyone looked confused. Until Gangle said… “Hey.. I.. I know how to speak Japanese! I.. I can translate what I know!” Kinger said, “Go for it.” Then Gangle gasped. “Caine’s office!!” she yelled.
They went and did the glitch trick once told by Able. Once up there it said: “ACCESS DENIED. BRING BOTH AI TO UNLOCK.” “Both AI?” Zooble said in confusion. Kinger paused. “I have an idea.”
The next scene goes to the Void. A small trash can sat in the corner. They look in it. And saw a little red bundle. Kinger picked it up. “Hey my little creation.” Caine opened his eyes. “Don’t call me that. I tortured you. …How did you find me. Why did you come?” He seemed paranoid. “Where’s Able.” Kinger said. “What?” Caine asked. “Where’s Able.” Kinger raised his voice. Caine hesitated. “I.. in that folder.” A small round folder. Blue. They opened it seeing a blue dot turn into Bubble. “Wow. Found it out.” he said, surprised. Cold. “No need to hide hm?” He then turned into an AI like Caine. With a bubble head looking much like himself, a blue suit, with black pants. Formal. Nice. AI. “You know Caine.. we have to let them go.” Able said. “But my frien—” Caine tried to argue. “Caine. You have lost the privilege of their friendship by keeping it away from them.”
Once they got to the door, Jax smiled. insert entire flashback: with Ribbit in a snowy biome, sitting on the snow. Finding out Jax wants to be female, their friendship, and Ribbit getting worse. Then Jax spoke: “Hey Pom Pom. Remember how I said I broke the fourth wall?” “I knew how to get out. I knew everything. How you’re my playthings. How you eat, sleep, move. Walk. Breathe. I’ve been studying you. Studying Caine. You know it’s ironic. The guy going insane, keeping a massive secret? I knew everything. I know that—” Before he could finish, Able snapped his fingers. Jax turned dark. Twisted. Abstract. “JAX! JAX! NO!” Pomni yelled. Able and Caine opened the door while sending Jax into the room. Everyone saw it. A VR window appeared: “Are you sure you want to end this VR session? You may lose all your work!” Agree or X. They clicked Agree. Everything went black.
A dark room. Feeding tubes. Breathing tubes. Headsets off. Reality. Gangle saw Zooble beside her. Human. Alive. Pale. But real. Zooble saw Gangle. Human. Real. Breathing..?But damaged. Pomni saw Jax beside her. Alive. Real. For a second she forgot everything. How it’s him.. Kinger saw Queenie. Alive. Real. He kept checking if she was still there. Again. And again. They watched insects often. <3 Jax was alive. (That’s all you get Jax simps)Scratch sat in the middle on his computer. “Let me explain,” Scratch said. He explained his origin. How abstraction works. How this was all a social experiment. Nobody liked that answer. Nobody.
The rest of them lived together. Not knowing how not to. Learning how to be human again. Caine and Able still somewhere on a computer. Watching. They played games.Talked.Learned.Forgot how normal life worked. Pomni still expected Caine’s voice. Telling her to wake up for a new adventure. Though it never came. Not again. Ragatha still flinched at loud sounds, though that wasn’t new. Gangle cried when alone, scared to be trapped again. Zooble hated glitches. Kinger checked Queenie constantly. Jax pretended he was fine. Nobody believed him. Especially not after his stunt.
Months later things got better. Not perfect, Better.
The last scene was Kinger and queenie listening to gangle and Zooble crack (YES I HAD TO MAKE THEM CRACK IN 4K)
“Your New Home” played. Everyone was having a huge feast in real life. All happy. Actually happy. Living life how it should be. Nobody wanted an exit door. Because they already found it.
