Work Text:

“You’re overreacting Snowball!” Coiny shouted at the man in front of him.

“I just..! You’ve been ignoring me, Coiny!” Snowball exclaims back, tears pricking the corners of his eyes.

Snowball and Coiny were fighting because Coiny had been hanging out with Pin more and not Snowball. Just ignoring him in general. He wasn’t around anymore. He barely even went on dates with Snowball lately. And it hurt Snowball.

“No, I haven’t?! Just because I don’t go on dates with you all the time doesn’t mean I’m ignoring you!” Coiny yelled, anger flaring in his words.

“You haven’t been on a date with me for a whole year. Nearing two! You’re never around! You’re always with Pin and not me!” Snowball exclaimed. He was so close to crying, his heart hurt so much. How could Coiny just not realize what he’s been doing? How does he not realize he was ignoring his own boyfriend?

“Welll!! If you have such a big problem with me hanging out with Pin all the time, then how about you break up with me?! That way you don’t have to be so bothered over this because of your stupid clinginess!” Coiny screamed out, growling harshly, his face a huge snare.

Snowball just stared at him before his face curled into a frown. “Okay then! We’re DONE! Get out of my house! NOW!” Snowball shouted, tears falling down his face.

“You know what?! Fine!” Coiny yelled, walking out of the house and slamming the door. Snowball stood there, he was breathing harshly, huffing, his hands balled up in a fist. He uncurled his fists and steadied his breathing. He stared at the door and fell down to his knees. His hands on his face, he cried into them.

Snowball sat at his and Coiny’s bed, or well, just his. He was staring at a picture of them having fun together. Coiny had taken it on one of their dates at their secret hang-out spot, which was a cliff Coiny showed him a while back. It was a beautiful cliff.

Snowball regretted kicking Coiny out. Maybe he shouldn’t’ve done that.. He already missed Coiny. And it’s only been a few hours. Maybe he should apologize.. But it wasn’t even his fault! Coiny was the one who had been ignoring him. But.. But he just wanted him back.

Snowball sighed and decided against it. Coiny was the one in the wrong. He should be the one looking for him and apologizing.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Coiny looked at his phone over and over again. No new messages or missed calls. Snowball would’ve called or texted for him to come back by now, heck ages ago! At least tell him if he could come back. Or just at least tell him if he was okay enough to talk again.. Was he okay?? Mint this was all his fault! He never should’ve ignored his boyfriend, why’d he hang out with Pin so much?! He’s such a horrible boyfriend.

Oh man he missed him so much already. He is so stupid and just the worst for doing this to him! He never should’ve fought with him when it was obviously his fault, mint! If only he’d just accepted what he did wrong and didn’t get so stupidly fussy over it!

“Coin-y if you really miss him that much you should go to him. You still have the keys to his house, right?” Pin, who was sitting next to him, asked. He had asked to crash at her place until Snowball texted or called for him to come back which she allowed.

He lit up. “You’re right, Pin! I do! I’m gonna go now! See ya later!” Coiny said, jumping up and running away and out of the house. Pin watched as he went, rolling her eyes.

Coiny stood in front of his and Snowball’s house. He breathed in and out slowly before opening the door. He called out, not loudly but just loud enough. No answer. He checked the living room. No one. He checked their gaming room. Nothing. Kitchen. Nothing.

Okay now he is getting even more worried. Is Snowball okay? Did the fight really take a huge toll on him? Coiny went to their bedroom. He could hear crying behind the door. Oh, mint it really did hurt him that badly.

He slowly opened the door, making sure it was quiet. Oh, mint he could hear the hics and cries. He was laying on the bed; backside turned toward the door Coiny was currently opening. His heart hurt from hearing Snowball, he never cries. He watched as Snowball cried, he couldn’t bear to move and make Snowball feel worse.

After a bit he finally decided to speak up. “Snowy..?” The sniffling stopped, Snowball sat up quickly, looking over to Coiny. Tears flowing down his rapidly wetting snow. “..C-Coiny..?” Snowball sniffled.

Snowball didn’t know whether to run up to him and hug him or to just bawl his eyes out in front of him. But he went with the former and fell down the bed. Coiny moved a few steps over, wanting to help him but Snowball stood up and hugged him.

He started crying anyway. “I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry..” Snowball repeated quietly, hugging Coiny tightly. Coiny sucked in a deep breath before telling Snowball that it wasn’t his fault but Coiny’s. He should not have gotten mad at him for something so valid.

“I’m so sorry, Snowy. I shouldn’t be ignoring my boyfriend or getting mad at you because I wasn’t thinking clearly. I shouldn’t have gotten angry at you because I was the one who stopped hanging out with you. I promise I’ll be better to you.” Coiny said to Snowball calmly as he cried, stroking his back to calm him down. He wiped his tears away.

Coiny kissed Snowball’s cheek, then his eyes, then his forehead, and his entire face. Snowball started giggling and telling him to stop. “I love you.” Coiny said.

Snowball smiled. “I-I love you too..”
