Summary
Maybe running away from his foster home in the middle of October wasn't the brightest idea Hitoshi has ever had. But the quiet cold and flicking street lamps were better than another wretched night in that oppressive apartment.
Should he call the UA student crisis line? Maybe? Does being told off for his mistakes, his stupidity, even constitute an emergency? Sure, it had been a little worse than usual, but this was normal.

The teen fished his phone out of his book bag, cringing at the notifications from his social worker, a spontaneous wellness check tomorrow afternoon.
Great.
By 4pm tomorrow he’d be a missing kid police report. The feds and heroes would be on a constant lookout for him. Even in running away he’d still be a burden.

Hitoshi’s foster father seriously injures Hitoshi for a ‘mistake’. Hitoshi determines that he is a burden and runs away from his foster home. Illegally uses his quirk to work in a shady bar that reeks, sleeps in a park and goes to UA the next morning. Aizawa’s not buying the story Hitoshi’s telling and tries to get the truth from him after a nearly nasty fall during afterschool training.
