Summary
Three years after the fall of Shiganshina, you are assigned to the Survey Corps’ logistics division.
You are autistic, severely socially anxious, and never learned how to breathe easily among other people. Most days, you crouch beside the muddy edge of the barracks, tending to a few dying wild jasmines as if they are the only things in the world that will not demand an answer from you.
At first, Levi only tells you that too much water will rot the roots.
Later, he gives you a trowel, a cup of black tea, a key to the storage room where you can hide, and one order.
“Stay alive.”
But you walk too slowly.
