At some point in the very near future, she’s going to dump her boyfriend for another man, and – despite all the questionably-helpful practice runs with Aaron – there’s no way either of them makes it through that without it hurting, especially since Chris has no idea it’s coming.

   So today was always gonna suck, even before the addition of a missing baby at Hep-C Central. Lucy’s ready for today to suck.
