"And thus, the story proceeds as it should."

It required extensive maneuvering, calculated adjustments, and continuous course corrections on Adam's part, but the outcome aligned precisely with His calculations. With all of His suspicions regarding the True Nature of this... irrationally anomalous Convergence effectively neutralized, He is now positioned to construct a spectacle calibrated for an audience of such scale.

Like a precisely optimized pawn of The Creator, the Quill of Alzuhod was brought into operation with immediate efficiency. Within the foundation of a Visionary's Pathway lies the capacity for narrative manipulation. An intrinsic skill set that allows it's user to assume and execute predetermined behavioral scripts with exceptional precision.

Adam has been granted operational access to a state of approximating Omniscience. As the personification of Imagination itself, His cognitive domain includes the ability to modulate the developmental trajectory of any given narrative system. His perceptual field further extends beyond local reality parameters, allowing Him to register observational vectors originating from entities external to this continuum.

In essence, He is a Spectator-Class existence. Observers of His magnitude inevitably detect—and are detected by—other Observers occupying comparable levels of Omniscience. "... Father," Adam called, as though testing a hypothesis rather than asking a question. "You always maintained that, in the construction of a story, one must be able to see both its beginning and its end."

How curious, then, that the world seemed to have inclined itself toward the existence of The Fool from the very beginning. Or perhaps it was no surprise at all. Perhaps it was only natural. After all, how else could a story end except where it had always been destined to? It began with an ordinary man named Klein Moretti, and in the end, it concluded with an extraordinary man who bore the very same name.

A Second Playthrough of Lord of the Mysteries

Summary:

Sequence 1: Author ]

Advancement Ritual:

Using real people as characters, write a medium-to-long-length novel, and let the actual fates of those real people follow the story's plot to its conclusion, leaving corresponding imprints in both the Spirit World and the River of Fate.

Acting Method:

An Author decides how the story unfolds, where the characters go, what the ending is, or whether they can live happily ever after.

However, their "stories" cannot be illogical, otherwise they would disrupt the flow of reading. Therefore, a "reasonable development" is always unfolding with each person being merely a word to be written under "Their" pen.

Chapter 1: THE CALM BEFORE THE STORM—WHISPERS OF WHAT'S TO COME (I)

Summary:

"The Lord who brought All Things into Being;

The All-Knowing, All-Powerful One;

The Author of Every Tale's Dawning;

The Guardian of Stories;

The Overseer of Fates."

— Imagination is Key

Notes:

Chapter 23: THE CALM BEFORE THE STORM—WHISPERS OF WHAT'S TO COME (I) ]

It was as early—or as late—as the 5th of March, 1349.

Chapter 29: CONTRASTING VOICES, DIVERGENT NARRATIVES ]

"And that," He said softly, "was how the 27th of June, 1349, concluded."

It seemed like nothing more than a string of coincidences. Three freshly graduated college students, after days of remaining cooped up inside Welch's house while deciphering the contents of the notebook, finally decided to step outside for some fresh air.

By coincidence, the notebook belonging to the Antigonus family had gone missing.

By another coincidence, it eventually found its way into the hands of Klein Moretti once again.

After deciphering something he was never meant to make sense of, he ended his own life under the notebook's sinister influence.

What appeared to be coincidence was, perhaps, nothing less than a destined conclusion.

And that was how the 27th of June, 1349, concluded.

It was by coincidence that Melissa Moretti woke in the middle of the night, stirred by a cold wind drifting in through the open window.

Having lived with her brother for many years, she was well aware of his habit of studying late into the night, often pulling all-nighters.

Concerned that he might once again be overworking himself, she decided to check on him—something any caring younger sister would do.

If she happened to witness her brother in the aftermath of his suicide...

Then it could only be said that it was yet another coincidence.

...

—if she happened to read some of its contents aloud, then it could only be attributed to her confusion and agitation in that moment.
