~Auklet~
I don't know.
Maybe I am just a dumb seabird. I mean, that's what Mink said. She's been bullying me lately.
I guess she doesn't like me anymore.
We used to be best friends at the start of this semester at Jade Mountain, in the first two months. It is four months into this Jade Mountain semester. It wasn't grueling. I actually liked studying and classes. Also, the fact that my eldest sister is the principal is amazing. We're supposed to graduate third grade in five months or so. And then next year we will be in fourth grade.
Coral, who is the queen of the SeaWings and mother to forty-something kids (dear Clearisight, that's too much). Is always favoring me, Anemone, Turtle, and Tsunami. She couldn't bear to see her "little darling girl" go to school. I heard that Anemone had to go through that too. She just doesn't want us to die. I mean, it's perfectly fine here at Jade Mountain. Tsunami does a good job with handling the school. Although, I have heard that two kids died here a couple years ago.
I'm in Jade Winglet with Bumblebee, Mink, Dusky, Cliff, Firefly, and Peacemaker. Dusky and Bumblebee are replacements for the SandWing and MudWing. They're from Pantala which I thought was amazing. Firefly is Queen Glory and Deathbringer's daughter. She's one of my best friends. After the fact that Mink started hating me for absolutely no reason.
If you're wondering where the OG Jade Winglet pals are, they're in middle school here at Jade Mountain. In Oak Winglet. For elementary kids (like me!) the Winglets are named after gems, and for middle schoolers the Winglets are named after plants. A high schooler (now a teacher!) from Pantala named Sundew told Tsunami they should name the middle school Winglets that.
Bumblebee was Sundew's adopted little niece. A little buzzing thing of excitement. Like Clearsight decided to make her 90% happiness, and bubbliness and 1% sad or grumpy (that's a fat lie -). The rest is her autism that I think she has.
I'm going to take a break from writing, my hands and talons are starting to hurt.

She can't know I have a crush on her.
She can't.

I have a crush on that stupid SeaWing. I don't know why, how, or when. I was kind of being mean to Auklet. I didn't mean to make her not see me anymore. I think I might have been a bit too mean because I called her a "dumb seabird". I didn't mean to! She was just getting on my nerves that day!
Oops, sorry Tsunami. I shouldn't be talking about that.
But yeah, I kind of did make her mad. Or I made her sad. Or possibly both…
I feel very guilty for doing that.
But, she's not the only one being bullied.
Bumblebee has been getting bullied, too. Not by me, by someone else who I forgot the name of. I think it was this little LeafWing (with some anger issues) named Oak. She was in Silver Winglet which was the Winglet below the Jade Winglet. So, she's one year younger than us. How can a second grader be bullying a third grader? I mean, maybe Bumblebee was acting mean, but she can't help it. She has something that I don't really remember about. It's something that makes her have major mood swings. Like, let's say she's really happy.
And then a millisecond later, she's grumpy as heck.
It's interesting.
Hold on, I hear someone coming into my room.
~Present time~
"What the heck?!" Mink yelled, feeling some warm talons on her shoulder. She noticed it was her clawmate, Cliff. Ruby's son.
"Dear Clearsight, chill!" Cliff exclaimed, stunned by Mink's sudden move. He stared at Mink's journal. "Oooo, are you writing a love letter?"
"NO!" Mink shouted, covering her journal quickly. "You have it too, slugs for brains!"
He gasped dramatically. "Mean!"
She let out a small giggle that only she could hear. "No, I'm being for real," she said. "It's the journal that Tsunami gave us."
"I don't have one," he replied, a confused face replacing his happy face.
"What do you mean?"
