Summary
Winter’s perfect life in Sanctuary was crumbling before his eyes.
He had been so excited to find that humans, not scavengers, had the same intelligence as dragons. But now all of their problems had become his problems.
And he already had enough to deal with.
Why were his humans so forgetful? Why couldn’t his friends from Jade Mountain understand him? Why was he still so awful and angry all the time? Why couldn’t he just be happy?
They soon find out other humans don’t know about the queens’ decree, and still live in fear of dragons. Winter and his research colleague Shore will have to help their new human friends spread the news.
However, some humans aren’t too pleased about this development.
