Summary
Takumi spent most of his nights alone.
It was an immutable fact, as the war raged on around the little school Nozomi had built, that at the end of the day he would probably drink himself into a stupor and curl up in a cold bed.
The girl he'd damned the people of this planet to save barely would talk to him. They exchanged pleasantries during the day, but any invitations went ignored or politely declined. He was sure she hated him for going so expressly against her wishes, for dooming Futurum to endless war in the power vacuum resulting from Kamyuhn's death.
It was one of those nights when he was sitting with his knees hugged against his chest, that he found himself getting dressed again and slipping out of his apartment. He would visit the one person who hadn't shunned him in the aftermath of his decision.
