As a thief, Ezekiel knew that it was going to be hard for others to ever trust him. he had given up on finding people who did and was determined to be happy alone without the need for other people around him.
Yet he was dragged into a crazy adventure by an even crazier Librarian and was invited to stay. He did. Not only because magic was real and he got to help with it. But because for once there were people that saw past that he was a thief and truly cared about just him being there with them.
