“ASHLYN!” Aiden’s shout tore through the house walls. In the house, Taylor and Tyler looked at each other.
“What the-” Tyler froze mid-step, the color draining from his face.
“I’ll go check-” Taylor said, but was interrupted by Tyler.
“No, I will. You keep looking for the key!” Tyler said, already walking down. Taylor looked at her brother as he walked down. She sighed silently.

Logan immediately scanned the area, looking out for any phantoms since the phantoms wouldn’t be distracted after the music stopped. Just then, Logan’s walkie-talkie hissed through the silence as a voice broke through. This made Logan jump a bit, and the walkie-talkie crashed onto the ground. “Hey, Logan. My brother went out. Can you check if there are any phantoms out there?”
“Oh shit,” Logan thought. He quickly picked up the walkie-talkie, “Yeah, sure, I’ll look out for him.”
“Thanks!” Taylor said, but the walkie-talkie was a bit too loud. Logan quickly adjust the volume of it. Seeing Tyler help Aiden onto the roof, Logan was confused. He looked up to see Ashlyn being pinned down by a phantom.
“What do I do?? What do I do??” Logan thought quickly. He raised his sniper, pointing it at the phantom's head, but just at that moment, a phantom climbed onto the ledge to where Logan was. Its white eyes glowed in the dark. Logan's reaction speed was fast, he shot it, and it died in an instant.
Logan pulled the trigger, about to shoot the phantom, but Aiden climbed onto the roof, ready to save Ashlyn, and got shot in the neck. Blood splattered onto Ashlyn and the phantom’s face. Tyler heard a thump, “What’s going on up there??” He was trying to see what was going on.
“Shitshitshitshitshitshitshit.” Logan’s hands shook; he fired another shot, striking the phantom.
Ashlyn’s head spun. “Damnit,” she tried to approach Aiden, who was bleeding heavily.
Ashlyn took out her walkie-talkie, “Aiden’s down and needs some help here, on the roof, btw.” Ashlyn looked over the ledge of the roof to see Ben running out of the house (Taylor and Tyler are dealing with the phantoms).
Ashlyn gently handed Aiden over to Ben. Once Ben saw Aiden, his face dropped immediately.
