Work Text:
She didn’t understand why. She felt so lonely. Everyone was there for her, but she still can’t understand why she feels so sad.
”Are you okay, Emma?” Norman asked. ‘Emma’ the name of the other her, the better her. She just smiled. “Yeah! I’m okay!” Then grinned, Norman smiled and sighed in relief. “Okay, well then uh i’ll just do something real quick. I’ll be back.” He said and left, everyone was having the time of their own.
She just sat on the bench, maybe she felt sad because. They weren’t there for her, they were there for Emma.
She’s just another version of Emma, a completely new one. It’s hard trying to be someone she isn’t but also is at the same time.
It hurts. It hurts so much, her heart aches. She then got up and went to the restroom, she looked at the mirror in front of her.
Tears fell, she wasn’t aware she’s crying. She feels so lonely, it hurts really bad. She wished Emma never lost her memories, everything would have been so great. Why..why..?…why.
Someone knocked, she quickly washes her face and wipes it with tissue. She then opened the door with a smile.
”Is something wrong?” Ray asked, his brow arched. She shook her head. “No! Not at all, i just needed to wash. My eyes felt itchy! Haha” Emma said, Ray knows something’s wrong.
”I know something’s wrong, you were crying. Don’t lie.” He scolded her, she just sighed. “It’s nothing really.” She frowned.
He just sighed and grabbed her wrist gently and went somewhere a little far from the others, so that they wont hear them.
”Now tell me, what’s wrong?” He asked. “…I…my heart hurts… i mean i don’t need medical help..just that… i’ll never be Her.” She said looking down with a frown. Ray puts a hand on her shoulder. “It’s okay, you don’t have to be her. Emma wouldn’t want you to do that, just be you. You know, a future you wouldn’t regret.” Ray said, She smiled at him. “Thanks, Ray.” She said. He smiled back.
”Alright, let’s go back with the others. Your feelings are valid, okay? I’m sure our siblings would understand too.” He said, she smiled and nodded. Grateful someone is there for her.
