Summary
A series of killings all have the same 2 things in common: a clock stopped at the exact time of death and a note that has a random length of time Mark has yet to figure out the meaning behind.
While investigating the most recent victim, Mark discovers that, according to records, the Panachai family had two sons, as documented in birth certificates and school records; however, when speaking with the mother and the oldest child of the most recent victim, no one knew anything about a man named Junior Panachai.
The investigation shifts from merely finding the killer to figuring out who Junior is and what he has to do with the case.
