Chapter Text
Ichika couldn’t remember what led her to this moment, but all that she knew was she was confused as hell when she woke up in a room full of people she could somewhat recognize, including her band mates, and a Hatsune Miku with a poofy rainbow skirt, a plethora of kandi across her upper body, and a “be who you are for your pride” shirt staring down at them.
“Hello everyone!~” Miku exclaimed, waving at the 20 people beneath her, who all were beginning to wake up just as Ichika did.
“Welcome to this special SEKAI, oh yes, a very special one indeed! Created by the shared feelings of 20 people!” Miku explained, attempting to ease the room’s confusion.
“A shared SEKAI of 20 people?” a voice said to her left. Ichika turned to see one of Saki’s brother’s friends, Kamishiro?, being the first to speak in the room.
“I thought SEKAIs were created from one person’s feelings?” he continued, confusing Ichika. For starters, how did he know what a SEKAI was? And also, SEKAIs can be created by multiple peoples’ feelings, obviously with Ichika’s group. Speaking of which, all of her bandmates also seemed confused, and Saki was staring in awe at the fact her brother had made it here too. Oh- and was that Shiho’s sister?
“Of course not, silly! Maybe your SEKAI is only made of one person’s strong feelings, but that’s pretty rare, for one person’s feelings to be so strong!” Miku giggled at Rui’s absurd thought.
“Wait- so he has a SEKAI too?” Honami asked, standing up and looking at the people around her.
“And- Kanade-chan? Oh, and so many people I know!” Honami gasped, noticing many familiar faces.
Ichika stood up as well, and then the rest of her bandmates followed. Then the rest of the people in the room, until everyone was standing up.
“What even are all of our shared feelings?” a boy with blue hair asked. Ichika could recognize him, Touya was it? She was sure Saki knew him.
The Miku giggled excitedly, putting a hand to her mouth as if she was about to tell a secret.
“Well, you see, this SEKAI is extraordinarily special. This SEKAI is called… the GAY SEKAI!” Miku exclaimed, cannons of rainbow confetti exploding across the multicolored room.
“BUT I’M NOT GAY!” some ginger yelled across the room, a distraught look on his face. A girl with black hair fading to a dark blue laughed very loudly, then whispered something in the ginger’s ear, which made him slap her. Then Touya went to break them up, and was that Kohane helping him?
“NO VIOLENCE!” Miku yelled, then snapped her fingers and removed the ginger and black and blue haired girl from each other.
“Anyways, the way to get back home is quite simple. All you must do is join a competition… a competition to find out who the most homosexual of you all is!” Miku twirled around, throwing up more of the rainbow confetti with her hands.
“Do we get a prize?” Tsukasa shouted, everyone else nodding in agreement. They should at least get a prize for being homosexual!
“Yup! You get a lifetime pass of free meals at In N Out!”
“HELL YEAH!” everyone exclaimed in unison, looking at each other with competitive stares.
“That In N Out will be mine!” a girl with light pink hair in a side pony declared (what was her name again?), hands on her hips.
“Nuh uh!” Ena bit back. At least, Ichika thought it was Ena. She was in the same music circle as Kanade, right?
“Well, I love In N Out, so I guess I’ll participate!” Honami looked at her bandmates, a sheepish smile on her face. Shiho nodded.
“Me too. I don’t know how to make myself more homosexual, but I’ll try.” She said resolutely.
“I HEART IN N OUT! I’LL SHARE WIH YOU GIRLS IF I WIN!” Saki yelled enthusiastically, putting her arms around her friends.
Ichika smiled. “Yeah, we’re all going to try to be as queer as possible!” she decided.
What a weird sentence….
—
“I’m not gay, but I want In N Out,” Akito pouted, crossing his arms.
Touya tilted his head. “But Akito, Miku said the most homosexual gets In N Out. That doesn’t mean you have to be gay. You could be asexual, or demisexual,” Touya explained. “You could still be straight and be homosexual.”
An nodded. “But I still think you’re gay. Like come on, remember that time when To—“ Akito slapped a hand onto An’s mouth.
“Literally no. I don’t know what you’re talking about. And Touya, you’re right. Thanks partner.” Akito smiled.
An mocked him, but it sounded like gibberish due to his hand blocking her mouth. She said something about licking his hand, and Akito heard it too late, recoiling his hand with a scream.
“WHAT THE FUCK, AN.”
The girl giggled, while Kohane looked nervously between An and Akito. Touya sighed, done with their bullshit.
—
“Rui’s winning,” Nene deadpanned, Emu nodding excitedly beside her.
“What?” Rui asked smartly.
“You’re a zest fest,” Nene supplied, looking him up and down. Rui looked to his left, and back at Nene again.
“I mean, anything for In N Out,” he shrugged, ignoring the implications of Nene’s comment and looking back at Tsukasa.
“Do you think you’re gay, Tsukasa-kun?” Rui asked, his usual cat-like smile on his face. The blond placed a hand to his chin.
“Hmm… I never thought of myself that way, but sure!” he said confidently, hands on his hips. “But I’ve had crushes on girls back in elementary school… does that still make me gay?”
“OH! OH! I know this one!” Emu exclaimed, “You’re bisexual, or pansexual, or maybe omnisexual!”
Tsukasa nodded, an understanding expression on his face.
“What about you, Emu-kun? Nene?” Rui asked the two girls.
“No clue!” Emu said excitedly, and Nene put a thumbs up in agreement.
“Only time will tell, I suppose. Fufu~”
—
“HA-RU-KA, I’M TOTALLY L-“
“LEBANESE.” Airi said nervously, covering Minori’s mouth.
“That wasn’t very smooth, Minori-chan! I can teach you better chants though~!” Shizuku giggled.
Haruka was confused as hell, but she knew not to ask anymore.
“Minori is definitely winning,” Airi mumbled tiredly, removing her hand from Minori’s face. The brown haired girl nodded quickly, a smile on her face.
“I love In N Out, and I’ll share mine with Haruka-chan!” Minori jumped up and down.
“And with us too…?” Airi said in exasperation, while Shizuku gave Minori a sheepish smile.
“AH! RIGHT! WITH YOU ALL TOO!” Minori squeaked, bowing down. “I’M SORRY FOR FORGETTING!” she apologized.
“Eh?! Minori, stand back up! It’s ok!” Airi panicked, lifting Minori back upright.
—
Mizuki was being stared down by all three of her group mates.
“This is an easy win, Mizuki! And then you can share your In N Out with us!” Ena urged, “You’re probably the only one here who actually has accepted the fact that they’re a part of LGBTQ!”
Mizuki scratched the back of her neck. “Well, like, nobody else here actually knows.” She replied, looking away from the stares of her friends.
“I’m sure you’ll be fine,” Kanade murmured, “or you could just not participate?”
Mizuki pondered.
“But I want In N Out….”
Mafuyu sighed.
“It’s either In N Out or coming out to 16 other people. Take your pick.”
“Actually, 15, if you count Rui as someone who knows—“
“We literally don’t give a shit how many people. You either pick In N Out and your group or keeping your secret. It’s no pressure or anything….”
No pressure. Yeah right….
—
“Hehe~” Miku interrupted the chattering amongst the groups.
“Now everyone, it’s time for you to choose your preferred sexuality! This doesn’t mean you only identify with one, but this is what you think you most strongly represent!”
Suddenly, multiple stands appeared, each with a flag and sexuality or gender.
“Go up to whichever stand fits you, and line up! Good luck!~”
The 20 high schoolers looked across the bajillion different stands.
“Uhm… that’s a lot to choose from, Miku.” Airi said, squinting at the nearly infinite stands.
“Oh, you can just teleport, Airi-chan! Just say the name of your sexual orientation and BOOP! You’re there!”
An said “gay” and appeared at the gay stand.
“COOL! HOW DO I GO BACK?” An yelled across the many stands.
“Just say lobby!” Miku yelled back.
Once An brought herself back, Miku clasped her hands together.
“Okay everyone, have fun, and remember! Be who you are for your pride!”
The teenagers cheered, and so it began.
The grand Prosekai Gayoff.
