   Summary

   Nine-year-old Hiko Takahashi lives with her father in a small apartment. Her life seems perfect: a wonderful father, a lovely—albeit small—home, and a host of promising talents. Hiko has everything a girl her age could need. BUT ONE NIGHT, EVERYTHING CHANGES.

   Her entire life is turned upside down overnight, and the chaos becomes complete when, three years later, a certain teacher appears and offers her a place at a school for the gifted.
