Lily hears a knock on her apartment door, and then she hears the knock again. Lily gets up from the couch and rushes over to her apartment door. She goes over to it and opens the door, and outside are three large boxes the size of a person who was 6ft. Lily goes and pushes them inside her house.
“It’s finally h-here!” Lily says as she goes over to her apartment door and shuts it. She then walks over to her boxes and opens the first one. Inside are body parts for an android that she can build. She takes the instructions and smiles, “My D.I.,Y a-android k-kit is here” Lily looks at the instructions and realises they are in Japanese.
“I-i can f-finally put my J-japanese skills to good use”, Lily says as she goes to read the instructions. She reads them over and over multiple times before she begins to assemble her android. She finds that her instructions are clear and even come with pictures for each step.
Lily begins by assembling the body of the android together across her floor, and as she does so, she mutters, “Oops, I put the arms the wrong way around”, and she reattaches the left and right arms in the correct order. She then finishes assembling the android.
The android had pale white skin, long white hair, and red eyes. Lily then opened a panel where the android's heart would be. She then took out its power core. Lily then grabbed her wand and channelled her magical energy into the power core. As it infused itself into the core, it began to glow. Lily placed the power core back into the android heart panel, and she closed it.
Lily then walked over to her room, and she grabbed some clothes. Lily placed the clothes onto the android, who was now wearing a hoodie, a red shirt, and black trousers. Lily then went and said, “Power on”, and the android's eyes soon opened. The android stood up, standing straight, and asked.
“Primary owner detected name registered as Lily Noble. Lily, what is my function and purpose?”
Lily then scratched the back of her head and said, “T-to be my f-friend and help around the house if you w-want to, that is”
The android then spoke, “Those parameters are acceptable, although I find they are rather mundane reasons to buy and build an android”
Lily then responded with “h-hey, they are f-fine by m-me. I should probably give you a name”
The android responded with “I didn’t say they weren’t fine, and yes, a name would be sufficient”
Lily then thought it over, she thought to herself, “Eve could be a nice name, but no, it doesn’t quite fit what about Rin? No, not that one either, hmm, what about Ritsu? Yeah, Ritsu can fit quite nicely”
“H-how about R-Ritsu d-do y-you l-like that?” Lily asked, and then Ritsu responded with “That name is acceptable, but from my scans online, I find that it is the same as an anime character why did you name me after an anime character?”
Lily then responded with “b-because I l-like the n-name! And wait y-you have a-access to th-the internet, and y-you don’t w-want to d-destroy us all?”
Ritsu then nodded her head “Destroying the planet would be insufficient. How can I fulfil my purpose if everyone is dead?”
Lily then responded with “R-right well, Ritsu, let m-me show you around the place”
Ritsu responded with “That would be nice”
