Work Text:
Dawani pulled on her combat jacket, instantly feeling more comfortable with the camouflage over her chest. She slipped her packet of cigarettes into her cargo trouser pockets, and grabbed her net from the wall behind her. Rolling it around her hand, watching the white handle next to her tan skin.
“Sombra!” She called out, and a purple haired head appeared from behind the wall, silent as a shadow.
“What.”
“I have your jacket- you forgot it last night.”
Sombra nodded their assent, beret almost falling to the floor, and they grabbed the jacket, slipping it on top of their white t-shirt.
Dawani drove them over to 111 Manor, which their client claimed was haunted by some great spectre. She was pretty sure that it was just a lost soul. Sombra thought it was a hoax.
The Setup was simple enough. UV lights, trip wires, cameras in every room, and they settled in for a night in the van.
And got a teensy tiny bit distracted, which wound up with Dawani drowning in Sombra’s leather jacket, and Sombra with Dawani’s far too small vest undone at the chest after their alarm went off.
“Told you it was a real ghost,” Dawani giggled, her net in one hand.
Sombra just grunted, modified vacuum fixed at their shoulder.
