Summary
Felix knows how to survive at the bottom of the Thunderous Syndicate. He is only a runner, not important enough to be protected. Still, Felix has made an art out of staying alive. He is careful when he needs to be, charming when it helps, and far more sharp than most people realize when they look at his pretty face and decide he must be harmless.
Hyunjin belongs to no one. As a freelance gun-for-hire with no permanent crew and no lasting loyalties, he has built his reputation on being beautiful, dangerous, and impossible to keep. He knows better than to get attached. He knows better than to interfere in business that has nothing to do with him.
But when Felix’s routine deal goes wrong, Hyunjin steps in before he can think better of it and neither of them is prepared for what happens after.
