The life series members all separately get invitations to come to an island. For various reasons, they all accept.
Once there, they are marooned when the boat that brought them leaves, promising to come back after a while, but the winter storms set in and none can escape.
Every room has a framed poem, the same poem every time. Fourteen Little Minecrafters... one by one the people mentioned in the poem die in various ways.
And then the lifers start to follow the fate of the people in the poem, all dying one by one.
They try to figure out which one of them is the murderer... before they're all dead.
You can have Grian commit suicide at the end if you want the endings to match.
