    Summary

“It’s not like, vodka, or anything, right?”
Thing, grabbing a box of matches, climbs back up Wednesday’s clothes and back to her shoulder.
Enid snorts to herself, “Or is it, like, vinegar—”
    “It’s lighter fluid,”
    “Hah—”
Wednesday douses the feathers in the bucket as Thing takes out a match and lights it against the scratchy part of the box.
    “Wait—what—”

    Chapter 9: Recall a Culling

Wednesday is an Addams, through and through. 16 years of existence have taught Wednesday three certainties: She is an Addams first and will die an Addams last; she refuses to become her mother, or she’ll die trying; she’s cursed to follow the footsteps of her bloodline for a figment of a person that haunts her dreams.
Her blood runs as black as the family curse that haunts her, and she's stuck to deal with the consequences of being born.
All things considered, for an Addams, she could have been doomed to worse fates.
Until that person in her dreams turns out to have existed all this time.

    Or

A Netflix's Wednesday rewrite except I turn Wednesday into a bird, and now it's officially her problem.
