Summary
Set a few months before the start of the main story.
Grandma Josephine, noticing how hard her adopted granddaughter has been pushing herself through hunter training, books a hot spring trip so the girl can finally relax. Accompanying her: the two men who served as fragments of her childhood , Caleb, home on leave from the academy, and Zayne, the heart surgeon who's quietly stepped back into her life.
She's blissfully oblivious to the tension simmering between them. She has no idea it traces back to an accident she doesn't even remember.
And of course, of course, there's only one room. Three days. Two men who can't stand each other. One girl caught between a cold front and a warm one.
