Summary
“Hawks,” he warns, voice audibly wavering.
“Dabi,” Hawks coos right back in that silky, saccharine voice, undeterred. He again steps towards Dabi, smiling. Far too close. “Come on, I’ve seen how you look at me. You’re not as subtle as you think.”
Dabi stares at Hawks, uncharacteristically at a loss for words. The bird apparently takes this as the green light, as his other hand grazes over Dabi’s chest, then up over his clavicles, his throat, then around to the back of his head where Hawks threads his fingers into Dabi’s hair.
He pulls Dabi down towards him while Hawks lifts up slightly—He’s never gone this far before. Hawks always uses his words, not his hands. Sometimes he invades Dabi’s space, but that’s often fleeting. He doesn’t touch.
Dabi’s heart is pounding in his chest. His mouth goes dry. His breath is picking up. And a damning warmth is blossoming low in his stomach.
“Seriously, Dabi, when have you ever denied yourself something you wanted?”
