Lucifer Morningstar walks into the Hazbin Hotels lobby, halfway awake , halfway sleeping. His blond hair is ruffled up and he still has his coffee in hand. But he at least managed to put his day clothes on and not walk down with his duck pjs thank father for that "Why the fuck would Charlie call a meeting THIS early" whines the groggy spider demon Angel Dust. Trailing behing Angel was Busk? nonono that wasnt his name I think it was Dusk...Lucifer, deep in thought was trying to remeber the cat demons name as he doesn't realize the shadow that was looming over him.
"Good morning your majesty!" says a static and quite frankly annoying voice from behind him.
Lucifer jumps up in surprise "Holy SHIT" he yells, then groans "Alastor what the FUCK" he sighs "This is way too early you prick." He looks up at the red haired asshole with disgust
"Well sire we don't want Charlie to be disappointed that her frequently absent father was slacking right before a meeting" Alastor states, his smug smile making Lucifer even more mad.
"For one" he states unfurling his wings so him an Alastor are face to face "I was not slacking..I was thinking" He points his finger to the others face "and you have NO RIGHT to insult my parenting" Lucifers demon form was slowly starting to pop out. Still, Alastor is as smug as ever and that makes Lucifer want to rip out his throat.
"My my I didnt realize the the King of Hell was so easy to get reiled up" The Radio Demon replies cooly.
"Is that a challenge?" The King states , now being the one to look smug.
"I think it is sire" Alastor's tentacles start to rise from his back.
Just before they were going to be at each others necks Charlie comes running out of the meeting room looking exasperated.
"Dad! Alastor! Stop fighting!" They pause and look at Charlie who was in fact quite upset.
"Heyyyyyyy Char-Char! sorry I was just trying to finish what this asshole started" Lucifer gives a very pointed look at Alastor who raised his hands in mock defense.
"My dear Charlotte I was just simply saying good morning to the king" Alastor says, putting a hand on Charlie's shoulder.
"It doesnt matter now, you guys get into the meeting room" She leaves, her blond braid falling gracefully as she walks. Lucifer and Alastor follow her into the room.
The only seats available were two next to each other in the back of the room. Lucifer side eyes the Radio Demon as he takes one of the seats, and Alastor sits next to him as Charlie begins to speak.
"Hello everybody! thank you ALL for coming as I do know that it might be a little early-"
"Thats a understatement!" yells someone in the crowd i think it was that bomb girl? the one who likes the snake dude right?
"Cherri manners please" Charlie says "Anyways I wanted to announce the upcoming highlight of the next 2 months is what I wanna call…" she bangs her hands on her lap like a drum roll "The Redemption Gala!" Lucifer can practically feel the excitement bursting from Charlie as she explains "We are going to host an AMAZING party celebrating this hotel and the date wil be in exactly two months! Sinners from all over will come to get a taste of what the Hazbin Hotel has to offer!!!"
There were some claps around the group, all supporting Charlies plan.
"Charlie, babe, as much as I love you did this meeting have to be so early in the morning?" The fallen exorcisit says sweetly, trying not to hurt her girlfriends feelings what was this ones name again? maggie? ugh all these names are confusing…
"OH guys im so sorry but this was pestering my mind and i just could NOT wait til this afternoon to announce it" Charlie apologizes, looking guilty.
"Don't worry 'bout it anymore we are all fully up now" Angel Dust says.
There are murmured agreements throughout the room.
"Thank you all!! Meeting dismissed! But Dad,Alastor could you meet me in my office for a sec?" She looks at the pair sitting in the back of the room.
"Of course Charlie!" Lucifer replies, hoping that he gets the message across that he would do anything for his little girl.
As they reach Charlies office, Charlie sits down in her chair and sighs "To put this bluntly Dad, Alastor, you guys have been fighting so much and this needs to stop... So I have the perfect plan for that!" She exclaims excitedly and clasps her hands together "For anything I need one of you to get done, I want you both to work together on it!"
"Dearest Charlotte... with all due respect you do realize that I preferably work alone on these types of things and I especially will not get anything done with this nuisance around" Alastors smile becoming more strained then usual
"For once I agree with Bambi" Lucifer replies, crossing his arms over his chest
"Look! You guys are already agreeing with each other! Please guys...Dad would you do this for me?" Charlie sounded hopeful on that last part that softened Lucifer
"Okay honey anything for you" He smiles faintly
"I suppose I could comply with this arrangement for MY favorite Princess of Hell" great...what a way for fucking Bambi to fucking ruin this moment
Lucifer glares up at Alastor.
Alastor glares down at Lucifer.
"Alright you guys...out out out I have work to do thank you both!"
The two men get ushered out of the office
"You know your a real piece of shit right?" Lucifer states coldly
"And you are like a bug that wont die, considering your height im suprised you havent been stepped on...Well farewell sire I have things to do" before he leaves he boops Lucifer on the nose and then disappears into a shadow
"What the fuck you little-" Lucifer begins to say until all he is talking to is nothing. He groans and mutters under his breath "Theatrical bitch" as he makes a portal to his room.
