    "Keep going," he took a step towards the Temple's big doors. "I'll keep him distracted."

    They stared at master Windu in heavy and mournful silence as he walked away, his shoulders squared and head held high. Nobody stopped him, for they knew that keeping the Sith busy was their best (and maybe only) chance of getting away.

    It still hurt, seeing him walk towards imminent death like that.

    "Jaieh…" Obi-Wan's voice was tight. He couldn't help but remember the broken mosaic he saw on his way there.

    The dusk light had just gotten redder since.

    Jaieh Mace stopped. He looked over his shoulder.

    His resolute brown eyes ran over the entire group first, as if saving them all in his memory with care.

    Then his gaze stopped on Obi-Wan.

    He let out a smile, a small stalwart thing.

    "May the Force be with you. Always."

    OR

    The Jedi Temple might have been razed, but Obi-Wan and the Jedi shall persist.
