Summary
Jason Todd has never been particularly talented at following orders.
When Bruce refuses to let him participate in an investigation connected to his own past, Jason takes matters into his own hands and infiltrates the operation alone. Unfortunately, gathering evidence from Gotham's worst criminals is considerably easier than dealing with an overprotective Batman who explicitly told him to stay home.
Or: Jason goes undercover, Bruce is going to be furious, and everyone involved suffers because neither of them knows how to communicate like normal people.
