“Doctor, it’s fine,” Aventurine managed out wryly. “I understand if you’re angry at me. After all, I shouldn’t have done that when you don’t hold those kinds of feelings towards me. I’ll keep myself in check from now on, so you don’t have to —”
“Aventurine.” Ratio tightened his grip on Aventurine’s hand and glared. “I reciprocated. Do you understand? It wasn’t just you.”
Aventurine gaped, flustered, and dumbfounded. “I’m — Hold on, Doctor. I’m not following at all,” Aventurine scoffed in disbelief. “Are you hearing yourself right now?”
“If I were angry, then did you think I was going to let it happen? I —” Abruptly, Ratio paused, mostly out of frustration when he turned away, and pinched the bridge of his nose before letting out an aggravated sigh. “Fine. Tell me this. Did you hate it?”
“N—No, but —”
“Then if I kissed you right now, would you oppose it?”
Aventurine knitted his brows intensely. “No, but if you’re only trying to make things even or something, you don’t have to kiss —”
Except Ratio did.
Ratio and Aventurine are on a mission on a faraway planet, and eventually have sex in an empty medical bay.
