Summary
Phoenix von Karma was a broken man. He had known it ever since he was young, that when he looked in the mirror he would never recognize the boy he once knew. It wasn’t just from age, it was all the lessons and all the guilty verdicts and all the hope of a perfect win record. Manfred von Karma told him such things perfected him: that he was incomplete, not even worth looking at without.
…He was nothing without a perfect win record.
Which, of course, made it hurt all the more when he got his first Not Guilty verdict.or
Phoenix von Karma’s entire world is thrown for a loop when Defense Attorney Miles Edgeworth enters his life, after all these years.
