Jimmy
- Ever since the summer of his freshman year ended, Jimmy has been growing out his hair from his usual buzzcut and likes to do short liberty spikes with his hair. He used to have Zoe help him with his hair but she doesn't anymore, so when he really feels like rebelling he does his hair in shitty looking liberty spikes, or just sticks with his usual grown out buzzcut look.
- Even though people call him a punk, he doesn't know anything about punk culture, he just goes along with it because it's easier to explain then just to say he likes the style. The main reason he dresses like that is because the grungier looking clothes are cheaper than the typical clothes in other stores, but he likes the clothes so he just goes along with it.
- He thinks he intimidates people a lot, that's why when people come up to him and want help he never wants to let anyone down so he always helps no matter what it is, but he still needs his money in the end.
- Has a really shitty skull tattoo on his left shoulder, he used to love it until Petey said out of the blue ‘your skull tattoo when I squint kind of looks like a dick’. He’s stopped wearing tank tops to cover it in shame ever since, because he tested it out, and it does in fact look like a dick.
- Has loads and scraps and bruises from constantly falling off his bike and skateboard, so much so the nurse saw him so much she just told him to get his own first aid kit to fix up his wounds. He hasn't been back to her since then, and he did indeed buy the first aid kit.
- Is TERRIBLE at communicating with people, this is shown in the game a little but i wanted to flesh it out more. Thinking he can just act whenever and people will go along with it, because he’s used to people just going along with him. Never explains why he's upset, or when he has something weighing on him, he just becomes an avoidant until it passes, if the person he's avoiding finds out he just thinks they're being dramatic. This is one of the main reasons why him and Zoe broke up.
- Yes, in my story Jimmy and Zoe broke up during the summer before sophomore year. There were a plethora of reasons why, but it wasn't a messy breakup, it was more like a ‘I don't want to be with you anymore’ and then the other person just replied with ‘okay’. Neither of them cheated, they just…knew they weren't for the best. (This is just for my story progression, I loved them together in the game, don't attack me \(￣ ￣) )
- Has a tan because he's constantly outside for all of his missions, and because Bullworth is kind of an outdoor school, so being exposed to the elements leads to him not being a pasty kid anymore lol.
- Because he’s always outside, he usually smells slightly of B.O and must…(this is so funny to type out idk why). Teenage boys STINK, so he’s no exception to the mass majority…im afraid.
- His favorite food is greasy cheeseburger from any restaurant that looks like it might be crawling with roaches.
Gary
- In my story, Gary has undiagnosed BPD (Borderline personality disorder, not bipolar). The game also canonically states that he had ADHD, so that also can be tied in with anxiety that comes with BPD. Everyone always characterizes him as being some crazy person who's absolutely psychotic. Which he could be in the game a little but still. He could also be characterized as being a sociopath, (which is not a real disorder of diagnoses) but tied in with his BPD, it sometimes cancels out entirely. His relationships are never stable because of this. Impulsivity, and a huge fear of abandonment, that could also be a fear of losing. It’s like his brain splits in half for the things he wants to do, and it holds him back greatly, and makes him do things he never wants to do.
(If you want a more descriptive deep dive into how i’d characterize his mental problems ill gladly provide, I could go on about this topic for hours but i dont want to ramble so ill move on)
- Never went to Happy Voltz, everyone assumes he did because he disappeared and suddenly came back at the start of the next school year with a counselor by his side. His parents didn't want to have a ‘crazy’ son, but Crabblesnitch told them the only way he’d be able to attend Bullworth again is if he started going to therapy regularly. So to make it look like he attended regularly they sent him to Bullworth with a counselor they paid extra to drop him off back at the school.
- Is obsessed with working out, he feels like since he can't control his brain, he could control his actual body.
- Has really good hygiene, significantly better than the boys on his dorm floor. Always smells like irish spring soap, or if he's feeling fancy a cologne.
- Has really good grades, and really smart, these are the main reasons why Crabblesnitch bargained with his parents to allow him to attend Bullworth again.
- Everyone hates Gary, which is fair because he’s not exactly an angel, but people not knowing his backstory try to be friends with him because he’s always sitting alone. But he pushes away, thinking they're just out to get him, but in actuality he’s afraid to get abandoned and disappointed again when someone can’t deal with him anymore.
- His parents never taught him right and wrong, and let him do whatever he wanted. To get their attention he’d attention seek by doing things that could hurt him or others. One of these events caused the scar on his left eye to form. And also because of his parents lack of attention to their child, he developed very backwards beliefs and thoughts on everything wrong and weird about the world surrounding him. (I am by no means a Gary apologist or defender, because that Halloween costume was something else…)
Petey
- Same as Jimmy, ever since their freshman year ended he decided to grow out his hair, and yes I fully believe he has beautiful curly hair. He now rocks a short curly grown out hair look.
- Loves fantasy based story books, and just books in general. Over the summer he went back home from Bullworth and spent his whole summer in the library, he also volunteered at the library and found new friends in said library. They weren't nerds, or any weird kid Petey would be put-off by, just normal kids who had nerdy interests. He likes being friends with Jimmy, but deep down he can't wait to graduate from Bullworth and finally be able to brand out and find those types of people he befriended in the library everywhere.
- His parents sent him to Bullworth thinking he’s got college experience by being away from them and living in a dorm. When he arrived back home he tried to explain why that wasn't the case and what all happened during the whole year, but they just chalked it up to ‘teenage drama’ and told him they’ll maybe consider taking him out his senior year if it doesn't stop.
- Ever since Gary referred to him as being ‘too girly’ and calling him other names, his self esteem plummeted drastically. His mannerisms he watched carefully, now conducting himself in a way that’d make him seem more ‘manly’. Deepening his voice, taking up more space when around people, trying to be a dick. Although it never worked. Petey is naturally more soft spoken polite person, pretending to be someone else only harmed himself more, and nobody bought it anyway, so he stopped, and embraced himself.
- Petey always smells fresh, like clean laundry and hand soap.
- Loves animal crackers (this is really specific, but it’s important to me lol)
- Mostly keeps to himself, besides the occasional talk with Jimmy, or someone else just making small talk. He finds peace in being left alone with just himself to worry about, freshman year left him ready to graduate.
Zoe
- She never really wanted to come back to Bullworth. She was planning on just dropping out, taking the GED of some sorts and going into the workforce to support her family. But because of all the events that took place at the end of freshman year, she mainly went back because she wanted to be closer to Jimmy. In the end she ended up wanting to stay in school again, and not just staying for Jimmy.
- She’s always out of dress code, like in the game she wears a more tattered uniform to match her style more. She’s always being harassed by staff and prefects because of it, but they eventually gave up, realizing they’re wasting their time.
- She doesn't have friends on campus, so she leaves a lot to go hang out with the people in Blue Skies. Everyone thinks she's kinda like the girl version of Jimmy, rude and always having a nasty expression sprawled across their face. But just like Jimmy, they only think that way because of how she dresses.
- Has a huge eyeliner collection. Pencil, tube, paint you name it she has all the eyeliners to get ready in the morning. She always presents herself with a different type of eyeliner everyday, because why stick to one when there are so many options?
- She hasn't bought new clothes in a loooonngg time, she knows how to sew and when she gets tired of a piece of clothing, she cuts it up and sews it into something new. She also knows how to be resourceful, taking stuff from people that don't want it anymore, and making it into something new.
