Chapter 1: Prologue: The Urban Legend of New Eridu

Chapter Text

(Author Note: This is a remake of my New Eridu's Celestial Guardian. The story this time around will be following the canon story instead of following a complete original story. But this won’t be a complete retelling. More at the end of this prologue. Also, once more this story serves as a separate entity from Raiders of the Storm. The characters from that story might possibly appear in the story…enough rambling. Hope you enjoy it.)

-Janus Quarter, 30th Street-

10:30pm

Night fell over the city. The sky was lit with many lights brightening the night sky with the moon that was partly covered with black/purple coated on one half of it.

Down below the city, within a nightclub with its lights blazing loud music. Two muscular men were standing outside the door, looking intimidating.

Inside the building a huge party was going down. Neon lights covered the area, loud music was blasting out loud throughout the entire building with everyone dancing on the dance floor. Both men and women alike were either dancing together with the men being a little more on the wild side. Many types of alcohol and drinks are offered around.

As the party was going down on the dance floor, up on the second floor however, an evil scheme was going down.

A mature man in a business suit sat on the ground with both his knees tucked inward. His hands trembled as sweat poured against his skin, his eyes looking down as he was surrounded by tall muscular men carrying bats over their shoulders.

Sitting in front of him was a lanky looking man with mohawk style hair, one part is blonde and the other half brown. He wore a purple leather jacket and black pants with holes in them. He sat with one hand over his leg as he looked down at the man with an annoyed look.

Lanky Man: Well, well, well~. Look what the cat dragged in. You come to finally pay up what you owe, dipshit?

The frightened man trembled, but gripped his pants. “W-Where is she!? Where is Molly!?”

The lanky man raised a brow with a grin. “Heh. Are you that damn worried about her?”

The frightened man bit his lips as he glared at the man in front of him. The Lanky Thug lets out a scoff before snapping his finger.

One of the muscular men went into the back. They waited for a moment. The frightened man felt his heart pounding.

“You know, Mr. Sharin.” The Lanky Thug spoke as he pokes at his own ear. “You lucky I’m a generous man. Otherwise your fiance would’ve been my property by now.”

Sharin bit his lips as he looked up at the man with an attempted glare. “I…I just want to make sure she’s safe…”

“Hah! Look at you, acting all big and tall.” The Lanky Thug back fell on the cushion seat of the chair. His eyes never leave Sharin. “I’m surprised that you managed to crawl back here though, let’s just hope you have the money to pay back what you owe to us.”

???: SHARIN!

The frightened business man looks up to find a woman with long brown hair, wearing a casual pink shirt with a gray coat over it and gray skirt. She was being dragged and held against her will as the muscular man forcibly grabbed her by the wrists.

“Molly!” He attempts to get up.

However, his blood ran cold when bats and guns were pointed right at him. His eyes looked at the men that surrounded him, all ready to lay the beat down on him if he were to make a move. His eyes then look back at the Lanky thug who is the supposed one in charge as he looks back at Sharin with a smug grin.

“Hehe, don’t even try to be a hero, bud.” He said.

“Y-You…”

“Easy, easy. Listen, I’m a reasonable business man, so I’ll give ya one more chance…” He said as he leaned in closer, folding his hand under his chin as his smugness grew. “Give me exactly 500,000 dennies and we’ll call it a day.”

“WHAT!?” Sharin yelled. “500,000! I-I was told only 5,000!”

“It was? But you were late to pay back on that day. And the next and the next, until I had enough of waiting. You owe me a loooot of money there, buddy. If you can’t pay that much, then your fiance is going to be my future wife~.”

Molly: NO!

Sharin trembled, his fist clenched. “Y-You…you're a crook, Maddox!!”

“Hah! Not a crook! Just someone who doesn’t like waiting on overdue payments~! You should’ve known what would happen the moment you stepped into the underworld business, pal. If you can’t pay, get lost and never come back.”

Maddox would’ve thought he would’ve left the building now, but to his surprise, Sharin didn’t bother budging. He instead stood his ground, giving Maddox an attempted death glare. With one hand over his heart, possibly trying to calm it down.

“I…I won’t leave! Not without my fiance!” He yelled.

Muscular Guard(1): Hey, look at bean sprouts over here having a back bone.

Thin Thug: I know, looks like he is finally growing a spin~!

The thugs around him mocked and laughed at him. But Sharin stood tall, despite the sweat against his skin and the heart pounding against his chest, he was not about to back down. He glares at the one in charge who continues to make a face at him.

“I…I’m not alone!”

This silenced the room.

Maddox raised a brow. “Hold up…the hell you mean?”

“I…I managed to get help…I…THE CELESTIAL GHOST WILL TAKE YOU DOWN!”

…………..

…………..

The silence was deafening. The only sound that was heard was the music filling the room. All the thugs around looked at him in silence. That silence was only broken by Maddox who laughed out loud.

“KEKEKEKEKE~! GET REAL YOU DELUSIONAL FUCK!” He mocked. Prompting the others to laugh with him. “So let me get this straight, you come into MY business! Cause a scene! And saying that you managed to get a hold and contacted the CELESTIAL GHOST! HAHAHAHA! THAT’S IS ABSOLUTELY FUCKING HIRLAROUS!”

Musclar Thug: Bean Sprout here been dreaming!

Thin Thug: Wake up and come back to the real world, dumbass!

Fat Thug: Hahahaha! What a loser!

Despite the laughter, Sharin only glared at Maddox, his complete focus was only on him. Maddox took notice of his glare. He releases a grin before flinging himself off the chair. Carrying his bat as he points at Sharin.

“Get real, loser~! Everyone in New Eridu knows that the Celestial Ghost is just a myth! An urban legend! There’s no such thing! Get your heads out of the clouds!”

Sharin bit his lips as he raised his fists up. Getting into a fighting stance, but the thugs could easily see that he was trembling. Maddox only laughed harder.

“HAHAHA! THE HELL IS THIS!? YOU REALLY WANNA FIGHT ME, BEAN SPROUT!?” Maddox said.

“I…I will…for my fiance, freedom!” Sharin said.

Molly: Darling…

Maddox could only scoff as he turned the bat over his shoulders. “Haah, honestly, you lots are so annoying…it’s such a pain in the ass.”

He stomps on the ground and spins his body around. Swinging his bat as he swung the bat across Sharin face, his body fell to the ground with a violent thud. Molly screamed in horror, trying to break free from her capture.

Sharin attempts to get up, only to be stomped on the ground by Maddox who kneels down to look at him with a slasher-like smile. “Hehehe…the ground suits you soo much. If you don’t have the money, then get lost. Final warning.”

Sharin breathes through his teeth. Frustration building inside of him. “I…will…not quit…”

Maddox leans closer, mocking him. “Oooh~? Not gonna give up, huh? Think that the Celestial Ghost will come swooping in and save you both.”

*Thwack!*

He stomps on his hand, causing Sharin to jolt in pain. “WELL, WHERE ARE THEY!? HUH!? WHERE IS THIS CELESTIAL GHOST THAT YOU CLAIM TO HAVE CONTACTED WITH! I’M WAITING!”

*Thwack!*

He stomps on his bruised hand again.

Maddox let out a laugh as he looked up in the air with a laugh. “OI! GHOST! WHERE ARE YA, YOU SO CALLED HERO OF NEW ERIDU! YOUR PEOPLE HERE ARE BEING BRUTILIZED! COME ON! I’M RIGHT HERE! COME DOWN HERE AND FACE ME! OH WAIT! YOU CAN’T! YOU KNOW WHY!? BECAUSE YOU. DON’T. EXIST!”

Just as he was going to go for another swing.

Crash! Shutter!

Suddenly something took out the lights. Scaring Maddox, his mens and even Sharin and Molly. Maddox pointed his bat around in a very frantic manner. His men with their guns armed, aimlessly pointing their guns in different directions.

Muscular Thug: H-Hey! Who turned out the lights!

Thin Thug: More like someone shot them out. Look on the floor!

The thugs looked all over the floor to find the shattered pieces of the ceiling lights that was shot out.

Muscular Thug: The hell is-

Thwack!

Before the thug could even finish his sentence, he was knocked upward before his stomach was kicked in and his body was sent flying. His back hits the wall.

Fat Thug: Whoa! Bro! You al-GAK!

His sentence fell dead in his throat after feeling his stomach being kicked in before his face was pummeled by a mysterious force. Knocking him unconscious.

Maddox and his one last thug were now on the defense side.

“The hell is going on here!? Is this some sort of prank or something!?” Maddox said as he swung himself around aimlessly looking for whoever is doing this.

Sharin noticed the muscular thug was not holding his fiance anymore. He attempts to crawl over to her as she was too frightened to move.

“YOU! DON’T JUST STAND THERE! DO SOMETHING!”

Thin Thug: W-What do you want me to do!?

“I don’t know! Find out who’s doing this! Someone’s in here! I don’t know who, but-!”

Maddox didn’t have time to finish his sentence. He noticed that his companion body was suddenly restricted before being pulled out of the room and out into the hall. He could hear his member being beaten.

Maddox trembled, frightened now by the invisible force that is now haunting him.

Sharin managed to make it towards Molly. “Molly. You’re fine now, I’m here.”

“S-Sharin…”

Maddox: Don’t move.

Both Sharin and Molly look to find Maddox now armed with a gun as he aims it at them. Sharin protects Molly by shielding her.

Maddox shot his glare at Sharin. “You…who did you call out for help!?”

“I-I don’t know what’s going on!?”

“Well whatever is going on here, I’m not leaving empty handed!”

Before he could do anything, he found his hand grabbed around the wrist. It was forced into the air before he found himself being forced against the wall. He was pinned against the wall. Trying to move from the spot but couldn’t.

“W-What the hell is going on! Who’s doing this!”

“And only one remain~.”

Maddox flinched at the voice. He looks forward, appearing right in front of him was a rather striking young man who looks like a maiden at first glance. Red-eye shadow makeup for his eyelids. Medium sized puffy black hair tied in a ponytail that looked like a wild mess. He wore a blue pearl that was clipped to his ear. A metallic face mask over his mouth. A long red scarf around his neck. He wore a shaded black and blue windbreaker jacket that draped over his leg like a skirt as he wore it loose around his shoulders, revealing a black suit underneath that snugged against his tone firm chest. The bottom part was wearing dark shaded red and black parachute cargo pants that had hip windows revealing his hips.

Maddox blinked with a faint blush on his cheeks. “W-What in the world…”

The rather strikingly young man leaned in a little as he closed his eyes, smiling behind his mask. He brushed his hair behind his ear revealing his pearl earring. “Hello, you must be Maddox, correct?”

“H-Huh!? Hold up! Who the fuck are you supposed to be!”

“Excuse me, but I believe I asked the question first~,” He said as he leaned in forward more causing him to tremble a little. “Now then, are you Maddox or not?” He said with a melodic tone in his voice.

The thug was beyond confused but answered. “Y-Yeah…what’s it too ya?”

The mysterious raider before him tilted his head with his eyes closed, a satisfied chuckle escaped him. “Good. Now then, Mr. Maddox, I believe you have been causing my client some trouble here along with his fiance…”

“Huh? You mean that bastard Sharin! He went babbling about…wait a minute…” He stopped as he looked back at the young vigilante who had him pinned to the wall. “Y-You’re…you’re the…Celestial Ghost.”

“Correct.”

Out of instinct, Maddox used his foot in an attempt to kick him. The Celestial Ghost jumps away from him. Maddox grabs his bat and aims it at the young raider in front of him.

“S-So…the legends are true then…turns out you're not a myth after all.” He said with a grin, trying to maintain his cool.

Celestial Ghost merely stands in front of him with a sigh as he rubbed the back of his neck. “They always wanna do things the hard way…but you know what, that’s fine…”

The vigilante reaches into his case around his waist and brings out two pairs of double knives. Both of them brimming with beautiful mythical midnight blue energy bursting. On the end of each handle were red ribbons tied in a knot. He spun the blade around and got into a fighting stance.

“Mr. Sharin.” Celestial Ghost said to the man holding his fiance. “I really recommend you stay back and protect your fiance…things might get ugly here.”

Sharin: O-Okay…

Maddox did a little toss in the air with his bat before grabbing it and pointing it at the vigilante . “Alright…HERE I COME!”

Maddox sprung off his foot and came at Celestial Ghost with a full swing. The Celestial Ghost merely dodges to the left as the bat makes contact with the floor. Maddox drags his bat against the floor and attempts to uppercut his opponent. The Celestial Ghost jumps backward, leaning his body back.

Maddox continues to aimlessly swing his bat, but Celestial Ghost keeps on dodging every single last one.

“You know buddy, you could try a little harder, yeah?” Celestial Ghost mocked with a teasing tone.

Maddox gritted his teeth as he gripped the handle with both his hands and swung his whole body, putting more force into the bat as he swung his bat. Knocking out the lampshade as it was thrown against the wall.

Celestial Ghost jumps onto the cushion seats, kneeling on top of the backseat of it as he looks at Maddox with a smile. “You got a nice swing there~.”

“You little!”

Maddox goes for another swing, the Celestial Ghost manages to dodge it as he uses Maddox head as a springboard, jumping off of his head and onto the table.

Maddox, filled with anger, follows his lead as jumps onto the table. “STOP RUNNING AROUND AND FIGHT ME LIKE A MAN!”

Celestial Ghost chuckled lightly as he spun his blade around before gripping them to a stop. Getting into a crouching position, he charges at the thug leader. He swung his two blades at the thug as he attempted to block them, but found himself being cut as the blades made contact.

Celestial Ghost made some incredible footwork as he danced around, swinging his two blades at Maddox. The thug was putting up a fight as he collided with the young man’s dual knives. Both locked into a stalemate.

Both manage to slide off each other, their back against each other. Maddox attempts to swing his bat at his face, only for Celestial Ghost to spin himself around Maddox's body to dodge the attack. With Maddox caught off guard, Celestial Ghost sweeps his leg right from under Maddox, tripping the thug off his feet and onto the table.

Celestial Ghost spins back to a fighting position as he looks back down at the man whose face was currently on the table.

“You god damn, pretty face!”

He uses his hands to jump back up onto his feet before throwing the bat right at Celestial Ghost to which the vigilante manages to dodge as he steps to the left.

Maddox grins as he digs into the pockets of his jacket and brings out two pistols at his opponent. “HA! LET’S SEE YOU HANDLE WITH MY TWO GIRLS RIGHT HERE!”

He begins to shoot relentlessly at the young man. Celestial Ghost in a quick motion snaps the end of his grips together forming into one blade and spins it, deflecting the barrage of bullets. Celestial Ghost sprung off his foot and dashed towards Maddox who was trembling.

“J-Just who or what the hell is this bastard!”

Once Celestial Ghost was close enough, he detaches the blade, spinning his blade on his two fingers before swinging them at Maddox’s guns. Swiping them off his hands, completely disarming him.

Once he was disarmed, Celestial Ghost spins on his foot before kicking him right in the middle of the face. Sending Maddox stumbling for a moment. He held his own nose groaning in pain, shaking it off before wiping the blood from the bottom of his nose. He glares at the young man with a growl.

“Give up yet…”

“Heh…think you're sooo smart…every situation I get myself into…I always carry my ESCAPE PLAN!”

Maddox screamed as he dug into pants pocket and brought out a pair of small marbles in his fingers. With full force, he throws them to the ground, causing a huge explosion of smoke covering the entire room.

As the smoke covered the room, Maddox attempted to make a B-line and escaped the room. Shooting out of the smoke, he pushes his body against the wall to support himself before dashing down the hall.

“Hehe…hehehe…try to catch me now, Celestial Ghost!” Maddox said.

As Maddox runs down the hallway towards his escape route, Celestial Ghost jumps out of the room, skidding to a stop as he looks down where Maddox was running down the hall laughing to himself. As if he actually won this fight.

The Celestial Ghost simply spins his blade around his finger and before gripping it and tosses it at the fire alarm.

A loud ringing bell exploded across the building.

Everyone on the dance floor started out into murmurs of disappointment and confusion. The music abruptly stopped.

Young Handsome Man: Hey! What’s going on!? Is there a fire or something!?

Disappointed Young Woman: Awww, I was just having fun…

As everyone grows concerned over the alarm, the DJ Player grabs the microphone.

DJ Player: [OKAY EVERYONE! CALM DOWN AND EXIT THE BUILDING IN AN ORDERLY FASHION! PLEASE DON’T PUSH OR TRAMPLE ANYONE PLEASE!]

Many of the attendees within the building exited the building, with some of them fleeing the scene while others calmly walking out.

With everyone exiting the building, Maddox burst through the double doors to find the dance floor empty. His eyes spot the door ahead of him as he rushes towards the door to finally get out of the building.

“COME ON! COME ON! ALMOST THE-!”

*Shing!*

Before he could taste freedom, a small familiar blade thrust past him before pinning the door. Maddox immediately halts, frozen stiff before turning around to find the familiar figure approaching him as he spun his one blade on his finger. He yanks the other blade with a thick wire that glowed midnight blue as retracted back to his hand.

“Going somewhere~?” Celestial Ghost said through his filtered mask.

Maddox trembled for a moment before putting up his fists, attempting to get into a fighting stance. “Y-You don’t scare me! You may be an urban legend or…whatever! But I ain’t going to back down without a fight!”

Maddox digs into his back pocket and brings out his knife before pointing it at him. His hand was shaking a little.

“Heh, I’ll admit, you got some guts. Alright then…” Celestial Ghost spins his blade around before gripping them. He then gestures a ‘come at me, bro’ with his hand.

Maddox yells as he sprung off his feet and attempts to stab him. Celestial Ghost got on his one foot before springing after him with both his blades on his sides.

As they close the distance, their blades collide with each other, locked in a stalemate before sliding off each other. Maddox spins the handlebar with a knife before attempting to swing his blade. Celestial Ghost spins on his foot as he hides behind Maddox, dodging the knife. The vigilante then spins once more, swiping the thug off his feet as he hits the ground.

Maddox immediately got up as he continued to swing his small knife at him. Celestial Ghost continues to dodge his attacks. Celestial Ghost blocks a swing as he collides it with his blade and manages to disarm Maddox.

The small knife flew in the air above. The thug throws his fist before Celestial Ghost moves to the side with ease and hits him back with the palm of his hand. Maddox's nose was beaten in as he went flying backward and his back ended up on the floor.

The thug groans in pain as he looks up at the Raider before him.

“Done yet?”

“Tch! Little bastard!”

He whips out another firearm from the inside of his jacket, a submachine gun, pointing right at the Hollow Raider before him.

Celestial Ghost: Another one!? Seriously!?

Maddox: Ha! Can’t be too careful now!

On that ridiculous note, he started shooting. Out of thin air, Celestial Ghost faded into thin air. Maddox shot in one direction before stopping. Getting up on his feet, he grits his teeth as he looks at his surroundings!

Next to the excessive bell ringing fire alarm and the pounding of his heart was not helping him one bit.

Clank!

He snaps his body in the other direction and shoots!

“Damn it! Show yourself you damn coward!”

Maddox grits his teeth in frustration before gaining a smile. He pointed the gun up and started shooting like a maniac. It wasn’t long before the fire sprinkler system went off and started drenching the place in water.

“I’ll make you show yourself, you damn ghost!” He said with a victorious grin.

He aims his gun in many different directions hoping to see a glimpse of him. His eyes then spot a familiar silhouette.

“THERE!”

He started shooting! The figure shoes burst with mysterious mystical midnight blue energy. Skating on the water as he dances around the bullets.

“HOLD STILL YOU BASTARD!!!”

Celestial Ghost spins his blade on his finger before throwing it at the submachine gun. Impaling it with the tip of his blade. His shoes burst into energy as he begins to spin around Maddox form. Binding him with his string that was attached to his blade. Maddox tries to break free but finds himself unable to as he felt his gun pushing against him and his arms way too close to his side.

Celestial Ghost skids to a stop, kicking up some water before gripping the handguards. He then gets into a crouch position before the back ends of his shoes burst with more energy. Looking up, Maddox could see his eyes were no longer brown, but a similar color to the energy surrounding him.

“T-The hell is this!? Just what or who the hell do you think you are!?”

“...I’m the Celestial Ghost…New Eridu’s Guardian…”

He burst off into speed. Making a small leap in the air before crouching and thrusting his feet right into Maddox’s face. Everything was in slow motion as blood and a lone tooth flew from both Maddox’s mouth and nose.

His face dazed as his back fell into the water. His face looked up at the ceiling as droplets were drenching his face.

Celestial Ghost lands on his feet before getting up and looking down at the dazed thug. He sighs to himself before dusting off his hands.

“That takes care of that~.”

Only a couple of hours have passed as the Public Security have arrived on the scene. Many of the party attendance who were there on the dance floor were currently on the sideline, watching the scene unfold before them.

Being dragged out in handcuffs were Maddox and his thugs. The party goers were immediately taking photos and recording videos of them.

Public Security Officer #1: Please stay back! These are dangerous criminals we have with us at the moment!

Public Security Officer #2: S-Sir! Please don’t try to take selfies of the criminals! Thank you!

The thugs were being dragged before meeting three officers in front of them. Two women and one young male.

One with black and red hair wearing a pubsec uniform. The more petite green haired one was a little more exposed wearing a sports top and shorts. And the male was a cat thiren with grayish spiky hair and a tail, wearing a sleeveless uniform fit.

Mature Pubsec Woman: Right, you must be Maddox, correct?

Maddox could only give a scowl. “Yeah, what’s it to ya, Cupcake?”

Mature Pubsec Woman: Ah, right. You’ve been on our wanted list for many years now. Robbery and kidnapping. And leader of a small gang of New Eridu. Not only that, you’ve kidnapped an innocent woman and attempted to kill a man today.

Petite Young Woman: Let’s not also forget, seems to carry a large supply of dangerous arms.

Mature Pubsec Woman: Ahem. Yes and also that.

“Oi! You can never be too careful these days! Plus, they make me look insane and dangerous!”

The three officers gave Maddox a blank look, noting his already beat up face and missing tooth.

Thiren Officer: Trust me, pal. You’re already looking dangerous and insane…just worse.

Mature Pubsec Officer: Alright, get them out of here. And uh…make sure he doesn’t have anything else of him.

The thiren officers lead the other officers to escort them to their vehicles. Maddox screams out loud.

“DAMN IT! DAMN YOU CELESTIAL GHOST! I’LL GET YOU NEXT TIME! I SWEAR IT!”

Hearing the word ‘Celestial Ghost’ made the Mature Pubsec Woman sigh to herself before leaning on a vehicle. Rubbing her own forehead again.

“So it was him…typical…”

“What’s wrong, Zhu Yuan?” The petite woman said as she rested near her. “I thought you would be grateful for the job well done.”

“I SHOULD be. But the Celestial Ghost is still a lawless vigilante. Not only that, he’s a hollow raider as well. That’s one way too many criminals act right there above the law.”

The petite woman could only roll her eyes. “Oh, Zhu Yuan, you’re so by-the-books. Don’t you think it’s nice that we have a vigilante looking out for New Eridu. In fact, I believe he’s the one that usually gives us those coordinates on where the crime scene is at.”

“That’s not the point, Qingyi. The point is that, yes, he is fighting on our side, but stopping crime is OUR job. It’s our duty. Just the thought of having someone doing it for you…wouldn’t that mean we’re slacking off.”

Qingyi sighs to herself as she grabs her own forehead. “Zhu Yuan, you’re just overthinking things. It’s not like he’s taking our job away. Just pretend it’s like…having someone in the shadows helping out.”

Zhu Yuan rolls her eyes with a playful sigh. “Please, only you would be this calm…though…I don’t know if Bringer will be too pleased with this…”

Qingyi looks at Zhu Yuan’s expression. “Mm. Bringer isn’t really a fan of the Celestial Ghost. But he’ll hear about it. One way or another.”

Zhu Yuan pushes herself up from the car before dusting herself. “Anyways, what about the couple who were roped in during the scene?”

“They're fine. Seth will be taking them home. Maddox and his thugs have been apprehended. And another day has been saved.” She said as she had her hands on her hips with a proud smirk.

Zhu Yuan chuckled a little. “Well, good night then, good work today.”

“You too.”

As Zhu Yuan left the scene, Qingyi looked up at the night sky with a rather thoughtful look.

“Out there protecting the city I see, Celestial Ghost. I do wonder…just what or who even are you?”

She thought to herself as she continued looking up at the half hollowfied moon.

……..

And that’s a wrap for the prologue chapter!

I’m back again. Sorry for the constant rewrites and all. But I really wanted to stick somewhere with these ZZZ fanfics. I would’ve done the original plot, but decided against it because it was pretty hard coming up with something original that isn’t entirely following the plot. Or even writing one without most of the ZZZ casts. It pretty much felt like I was writing my character's story so I decided to scrap the idea and just go for writing the main canon story.

I am aware that people are often tired of these types of fanfic, that I know well of. So rest assured I will try my best to make it different instead of it being a complete retelling of the canon story. Similar to how I did with Hitoyoshi and the Prison School, this will have its own unique approach. With the story and character interaction. I really don’t want my characters to be just reacting to the plot, but being active in it.

Also, I just want to be clear. I will NOT be doing a harem. I have little patience for those. I know they’re very popular, but honestly I find them very tedious work. Plus we have some good pairings in there anyways, so why bother. I’ll be sticking to OC X Nicole for this one.

By the way, you may have noticed I wrote up a Prologue chapter. It was a suggestion from a friend of mine on Discord. Not something I do most often, but hey it’s an interesting approach. A way to introduce my original character into the world of Zenless Zone Zero and how his role plays. The next chapter will be entering into the main story.

That’s it for now. The next chapter will be bridging our way into the main story. Stay safe and I will see you all next time!
