Work Text:

Sharpness would have mistaken the little creature for a certain mop of purple-blue hair. It wouldn't be surprising to find the trapper buried in a pile of grass, waiting for his next unfortunate victim to walk past.

Well, Jude would conceal himself better than this little thing had. Plus, it had hopped about on ground level without a human neck, shoulders and body attached to it.

Sharpness was a swordmaster who brought fear upon many players, yet even he couldn't deny the affection he held for cute, fuzzy things.

Who could blame him? The little critters of the world were all just so endearing.

Anyway, he had been heading home after a majorly uneventful day. Many people weren't online at the moment, so there weren't many people to fight.

He had stopped near the entrance of Judes base when he saw it— a fluffy ball of bluish fur, ears poking high from its head.

The rabbit stared up at him, having pressed itself into the ground when Sharpness had arrived.

It looked ready to bound off away from him like a scared little being disturbed by am armour-clad giant.

Sharpness' heart stung at the frightened look of the rabbits small demeanour. It honestly made him want to take the creature and coddle it in affection.

So, he made the decision to carefully lower himself into a crouch, doing his best to not scare the bunny anymore than he already had. He was often mocked for being a big dumb brute. He did have a heart, though.

The rabbit was somewhat dirty. Had it been chased by some sort of predator? Unable to take the time to clean itself in between?

Slowly, he extended his hand, not getting too close. Rabbits were prey animals, you had to be patient with them.

The animal was stiff, its senses locked onto Sharpness. He didn't mind— it was scared.

"… Hi." He finally muttered, keeping his voice quiet and as gentle as he could muster. "Where'd you come from?"

The bunny simply stared, unable to respond.

"I won't hurt you." He cooed.

Ever so slowly, the bunny extended its head, taking a cautious sniff of the humans hand.

Sharpness stayed still, examining the bunny. It did kind of look like Jude.

"Are you…" He paused for a second, watching the bunny step closer, tensing slightly when Sharpness spoke again

"Judes..?"

Silence. Sharpness wouldn't expect more.

"Does he really have a bunny that looks just like him? Loves himself too much." He huffed with amusement, gently moving his hand to run a finger across the bridge of the animals twitching nose. It didn't retreat. Leaned into the touch, actually.

"He'd be so mad if I stole you for a bit." He then concluded, already scheming on the trappers downfall. The bunny kept leaning into the scratching, carefully moving a bit closer.

So, with all the care in the world, Sharpness reached out to slowly pick the bunny up, keeping a steady hold when it tried to writhe out of his arms. It wasn't too keen on being held, he supposed.

"Dude, it can't be that bad." Sharpness grumbled as he tried to catch the rabbit bounding around his bathroom.

He'd read that apparently, bunnies shouldn't be bathed. According to the source, it could result in hypothermia and even death. Which Sharpness obviously didn't want, so he decided to play it safe and simply let the creature do the cleaning by itself.

Except it didn't seem to want to do that.

So He'd grabbed a towel which he could use to wipe the majority of the grime off.

"Come on, I'm trying to clean you!"

The rabbit didn't respond, just skittered to the other side of the room as Sharpness tried to grab a hold of him.

Eventually Sharpness gave up, standing up with a groan as the rabbit cornered itself against the wall again.

He swore it could read his head. It hadn't minded being carried previously.

"It can't be nice to be covered in dirt." He, personally, hated when his hair was dirty. He took great care in it.

The animal simply stomped it's hind foot in a show of stubborn refusal. Sharpness frowned at this. The bunny had settled on the ground, having made up its mind.

Sharpness was lost for a moment, defeated by a tiny little thing that didn't want to clean itself. Sharpness swore it was just messing with him.

He blinked as it shifted, starting to clean its ears.

"This is ridiculous!" He exclaimed. "Now you want to clean yourself?"

The rabbit didn't pay him any mind. It simply continued running its paws over its ears in a methodical pattern, eventually shifting to the face.

Jude hated everything and everyone in his stupid chud life.

Tai had gotten annoyed enough which had lead to an event that now was the reason to Jude being practically kidnapped while trying to get to the safety of his own base.

Now, he was blocked off in a room that resembled a bedroom, settled on a pile of blankets and pillows.

All he could do was accept his fate and stare at his paws while Sharpness fucking Conexion, his arrogant, dumb traitorous ex-teammate replaced the red bow that was tied around his neck with a black ribbon that matched the swordmasters own.

His puny body was seething with rage and embarrassment..

It didn't even feel bad, actually. Yet that was the worse part of it.

He was warm, comfortable, safe and had a pile of carrots waiting at his disposal.

But it was Sharpness.

So what else could he do than be petty about it? Even if he figured he could pretend and be like any other rabbit when the blondes idiot brain ignored the obvious clues and instead labelled Jude as a bunny Jude himself owned instead of Jude that was cursed into the body of a frail animal.

The now bare hands tied the neat ribbon off, Sharpness leaning back smugly to observe his work of art.

Stealing Judes pet.

Jude shifted, turning to instead sniff around the blankets he'd been given. Everything smelled disgustingly of the man above him. It was more prominent than ever. He was a rabbit hybrid when his situation had been normal, but this small body's senses were wired even tighter.

He could feel the pair of hazel green eyes cooing at him as he tried to retreat and sulk in a corner, only for a hand to come rubbing between his sensitive ears.

It was so gentle he couldn't help but stop, his eyes involuntary drooping as he settled down again.

This was some sort of curse. It was unacceptable. He'd clearly been weakened by whatever spell that'd been placed over him.

His hind leg thumped against the mattress once.

Sharpness paused, observing for a second.

"Why are you angry?" He questioned, the gentle lull of his accent digging Judes grave even further down.

It was humiliating, and Jude couldn't do anything. If he tried to lash out or something, Sharpness was more than strong enough to wrestle his small body away without any struggle at all.

So, Jude laid down (angrily) and settled into a neat loaf, his paws tucked under himself.

Sharpness hummed fondly. "Attitude like his." He spoke before grabbing another carrot, holding it out to Jude.

Did this guy feed every animal he came across this much? It couldn't be healthy.

Jude ignored it despite himself, pushing himself up onto his feet again before turning away. This caused Sharpness to laugh.

"Okay, then."

Tai stared at the bundle of fur tucked in Sharpness' arms.

"Did you know Jude has a bunny? I found him by Judes base and took him." Sharpness rambled, scratching at the rabbits head. "I haven't even seen Jude come looking for him, clearly he's better off with me."

Tai didn't really care about what was being said, too engaged in the stare off he and Jude were currently in.

Beady eyes were glaring at him as seriously as he could muster in his round leporidae body. Almost like "if you say a thing I will genuinely trap you in a suffocation chamber that will kill you slower than any of my traps have ever before."

Or something along those lines. Tai couldn't tell. He didn't really care.

He silently snagged a screenshot for possible future blackmail, giving a small nod along to the swordmasters yapping.

"How do you know it's… Judes?" He instead asked.

Sharpness paused, glancing down at Jude.

"He had a red bow on his neck. Like Jude. He looks and acts just like him, too."

Yeah, Sharpness wasn't the sharpest. This proved Tai was the smarter one, the debates were useless.

"Yeah." Tai mused. The bunny continued glaring, its nose twitching in annoyance.

"Jude hasn't come for you. He hasn't even been seen in a week." Sharpness grumbled as his fingers ran over soft fur.

He'd named the bunny Bonnie. He remembered Jude fangirling over that fnaf series, and decided that Bonnie was a name Jude would give to a pet rabbit.

"He's been online but no one's seen him at all."

Bonnie was laying comfortably on his chest, a grounding weight.

Recently, Sharpness had found Strength extremely boring. A lot of people weren't online, so he had practically no one to fight. Or even talk to!

He only really stayed to make sure Bonnie stayed safe and well cared for.

Judelow was supposedly online but Sharpness had zero clue where he could be. Probably hiding away somewhere, scheming up evil plans to ragebait everyone once again.

Sharpness scoffed lightly, his hazel eyes falling back down onto Bonnie.

Jude had left the poor creature on its own. Or then Bonnie was an outdoor bunny? Like a cat. Did that even exist? He got accustomed to living with Sharpness when he had only found him fairly quickly.

Or then Jude was just irresponsible with pets. Bonnie had to be originally his. He did have a red bow on him, just like Jude!

The few other servermates hadn't been of any help, either. None of them had known Jude had a pet, but they also looked at Sharpness like there was something he wasn't getting again. Even sapa had murmured something under his breath after Sharpness showed Bonnie to him.

He had tried to look for Jude. Not that he cared, it was just awfully boring without the regular banter.

Now, that usual routine of bickering and arguing was missing, replaced with the unoccupied spotlight over Judes absence.

It shouldn't bother him so much. They disliked each other. They were enemies.

His thoughts were interrupted by a shift on his chest as Bonnie pushed himself onto his paws. His head extended briefly to sniff at Sharpness' face before turning away again.

"What?" Sharpness huffed, rubbing the space behind Bonnies ears. He thought for a second before. "Do you know something I don't?"

Bonnie looked at him for a matching second. He then shifted to punch at the swordmasters chest.

"Hey— why're you mad?" Sharpness exclaimed, moving his hands to pick the fussing animal up. It wriggled uselessly in his hold, glaring at him.

"Drama queen." Sharpness grumbled, lowering the rabbit back down.

It couldn't even scramble off like it had seemingly intended to before a human figure suddenly crashed on top of Sharpness.

He grunted, eyes snapping open again as he reached for his sword—

His eyes were locked with bright pink ones.

The eyes that had carved themselves into his very mind.

"JUDE?!"

"Shut up, Sharpness!" Jude exclaimed back before quickly shuffling away from where he'd fallen onto the blondes lap. He stumbled slightly, as if walking on two feet was a difficult task.

Sharpness shot up as well, sword in hand.

"Where were you?! Where's my bunny!"

"That's none of your business!"

Jude was flushed red, for some reason. His red bow was black, too. Was he trying to copy Sharpness??

"B-Bonnie was a tactic to spy on you! That's what! You were just too dumb to realise!" Jude then blurted.

What the hell!

Suddenly the trapper was trying to be smug again, crossing his arms like it proved anything. His leg was thumping though, betraying his nerves.

"What the fuck are you talking about?? He loves me!"

Jude froze.

"He doesn't!" Jude barked, his ears pinning to his head before he shifted again, suddenly bolting out of the base.

"Next time I see you you're dead!" Was all Sharpness heard as he was left standing, bewildered out of his mind and abandoned in his base.

Alone again.

Jude hadn't even picked Bonnie up. And he was still gone, somehow

Heyo! Hope you liked my dumb drabble.

I could have made this longer if I wasn't as dumb as a pile of bricks, resulting in my braindead lack of ideas.

However, I might do a second part if
1. I get more ideas
2. Ya'll liked this and do want more (ToT)

Constructive criticism and feedback is appreciated!
