It was a short walk to the coffee shop. Right down the road, actually. Before the hustle and bustle of daily life, before June meets up with Vriska and Terezi, and Roxy says hello to Dirk, Callie and Jane; the two decided to get some coffee. June was still half asleep; walking like a zombie and mumbling about playing cards and clowns. Before they knew it, they’d arrived.
“Morning, to ya.” The barista spoke, in a monotone voice. “What’ll you have?”
Before June could answer, Roxy replied with “She’ll have a large mocha, two pumps vanilla, with extra whipped cream!!” June stared at Roxy in awe. “Wha- how’d ya know?” June stammered.
“Juneeeeyyy,” Roxy said, turning to face June with a silly smirk, one that said “haha, we hang out so much I know your COFFEE order!!” “We do this like every morning.”
June’s face turned beet red. “Ah, right.”
