Pretty much what the title says.
When Shallan activates the Oathgate to Urithiru during the collision of Highstorm and Everstorm, due to the sheer amount of Investiture focused in one place (on top of the remnant Investiture from Honor and Odium shattering the Plains millenia ago), it bleeds through Shadesmar onto Scadrial. Kadar, a Twinborn exploring the edges of the Roughs in the era of Wax and Wayne, gets caught in the resulting Storm and is yanked through onto Roshar. He wakes up under guard in Urithiru with many questions. Where is he? How did he get here? What language are they speaking? And what is going on with their weird light powers?
Follow Kadar and his Windrunner
guardfriend, Talien, as they journey through Roshar on a quest to get Kadar back home. But Odium is interested in this new player, and it's not quite as simple as hopping back through Shadesmar... -
