Summary
Seungmin was very familiar with the concept of compromising and giving up on little parts of himself. It happened before. Sometimes it happened without anyone noticing, sometimes it was too big to hide. And people were amazed at his resilience, at how calmly he coped, the very definition of being demure.
What they didn’t know was how hard on himself he grew up to be. Seungmin didn’t do “good enough”, he aimed for perfection, even if it meant flirting with burn-out or borderline self-hatred.
So, when his voice started to play tricks on him at the end of their tour, he tried to hide it and to convince himself it was just his brain playing with his fears, when it was most likely the result of a cold.
The problem was that Seungmin and the concept of “unknown” didn’t go well together.
He couldn’t lose his voice, his band, his members. His career.So, he went to Changbin.
