Summary
Evgenia Medvedeva returns from the Cricket Club and now she finds herself dealing with lingering tensions with Alina Zagitova as well as an inner battle with internalized homophobia and her struggle with God and religion as a whole.
Alina Zagitova feels lost even years after backing away from competition. She aches to stay relevant even without her skating skills on display at every competition. She battles insecurity, anxiety and other confidence-breaking elements.
The two have to learn to deal with one another in a civil way. All the while, their successors experience the biggest heartbreaks of their lives at the 2022 Olympics. Even after that, they have to learn to work together during the 2022 show season.
